From So Cool to Give it to me and now Some, accusations were thrown up endlessly and Starship never ever said a thing about it while they answered to all the other controversies/rumors such as Hyolyn's straight face, Dasom's so-called iljin past ect... But why ? I think it's because of three reasons : 1) They don't give a damn about what teens post on Pann or about knetz comments (if they gave a damn about it, SISTAR would have switched for a long time to a cute concept lol). 2) Everyone likes free stuffs right ? It's the same for Starship. Those sajaegi accusations are free publicity. Korean stans and International stans all tweet about this, search this on Nate, Naver etc... And it's increasing the SNS points of Sistar's songs and Some just like it increased Stellar's SNS points and MV views. Just like yesterday, the YT video of Some had 1,2 millions views and now it's climbed at 1,5 millions thanks to these accusations. So as a star1, I thank all of you for talking about Soyou x Junggigo's Some and sajaegi ! Yeah because, tbh, Star1s are quite lazy when it's about tweeting a lot to help Some to win. Two weeks ago, Some lost to B.A.P's song by 30 points just because of low SNS points. :( But now, they have more chances to win next week. So keep tweeting about Some and Koreans keep searching them, posting fake stuffs about them. 3) For two years, some knetizens kept accusing them of sajaegi but it didn't affect in any way their popularity with the general public. Most of their CFs got renewed (Ocean World, 11st, Pelikana Chicken, Plastic Island, Nepa Isenberg etc...) and their name bounded with those brands helped them to increase their sales by sometimes 30 %. Besides, every release of SISTAR/Sistar19/Soyou/Hyolyn is successful (Ma Boy, So Cool, Alone, Loving U, Officially Missing You, Gone Not Around Any Longer, Give It To Me, One Way Love, Stupid in love, Some...) and is in the top 50 for Soyou's duets and in the top 10 for SISTAR/SISTAR19's songs. And Dasom got lead roles in successful daily dramas (heck, Melody of Love hits 30 % ratings). Plus, Kim Shi Dae the ex-CEO of Starship sold his agency (with only 2 idol groups and one soloist in it) for 15 millions dollars USD and is still ruling Starship but as a sub-label of LOEN, so he won in the end. Conclusion : there is no such a thing as bad publicity. A recent article reported your digital sajaegi budget was larger than North Korea's GDP. I heard you recently had to sell a kidney just to give Soyou and JungGiGo one more week of chart-topping fun. As a Star1, I am thankful for all the money you have been spending on promotions and digital sajaegi, but I have a request for you. Next time SISTAR has a comeback, can you please bulk buy their albums so it looks like their fandom has grown? Chart manipulation is fun and everything, but in the Kpop world you need a big fandom to be respected, so please please please, bulk buy their albums. Bulk buying is cheaper than digital chart manipulation because you actually get your money back when you return the albums, so it would not be a big burden on your already fragile finances. Also, can you ask LOEN to buy some YouTube views for SISTAR? That would make the whole big fandom deception more credible. One last thing. Talk and "explain" will only make things and boost controversy. It's not for nothing that Starship don't give a fuck. We should do the same.
