Debut Date: June 5 2015 Company: Hyunda Company BABY BOO is a trio girl group from Hyuna Company who debuted on June 5 2015 with the song "Boo Boo Boo" When BABY BOO debuted they were a four member group with the members: Shine, Daon, Chaei, Sori. For their 1st comeback in January 2016 they had a unit comeback with the members Shine & Daon and the song "12 O'CLOCK" Though they called it a unit they still only went by the name "BABY BOO". On May 24, BABY BOO had a comeback as a trio with the members Shine, Daon and Dabin & with the song "Kiss Me". Dabin before joining was a backup dancer for 12 O'Clock. With this comeback it was officially known that Sori and Chaei are no longer members of Baby Boo~ In late september/Early October, BABY BOO was joined by a 4th member named Jiyouni, who was also a model, & they were performing as 4 members. They performed songs along with their new song "Right Now" In December, BABY BOO was joined by a 5th member named Sehee. They started performing as a 5 member group~ On January 5 2017, BABY BOO had their official comeback on music programs as a 5 member with the song "Right Now" Later on in January 2017, Hyuna posted on their fancafe & SNS that new members Jiyouni and Sehee have decided to leave BABY BOO and The company. No real reason except that was mentioned. On May 2nd 2017, BABY BOO had their first comeback stage with the song "내몸매가 어때서" which is an EDM track that's different then their other songs. They will be releasing the digital on May 4th~ BABY BOO was originally named 다단계 (D.D.K). Shine was the first member to be a trainee in the company then Shine saw Daon's dancing videos on Twitter and recommended her to join the company which she did. Baby boo got their name cause the lyrics in Boo Boo Boo has the words Baby Boo and also other said that they should have that as their name.
