I think it looks better on me since I'm not very skinny (normal weight) but have a small waist (good waist to hip ratio ) If I sit down, a loose crop top simply falls nicely compared to when sitting with a tight crop top since these tend to roll up unless they're made from a thick and flattering fabric. I also think the loose but not super loose crops can be flattering... But I don't think the boxy type crop is flattering for most body types, esp if you don't have perfect posture 24/7 or if you have to carry anything more than a small purse, lol.
