Jaehwan was so beautiful at the concert.     He's serving both visuals and vocals.

 

Sorry these are not Jaehwan focused fancams, but can we take a moment to appreciate this dancing skills? He's not a bad dancer at all. Of course he's not main dancer level, but he keeps up with choreo just fine while slaying those vocal lines. Plus, his moves are pretty smooth and not awkward at all. I feel like he came from such a long way from the beginning of the show when he had a hard time with Nayana.

Yeah I think he's moving more naturally now, I'm proud of him for improving so much in a few short months!

 

 

 

He has greatly improved, comparing to how he danced at the beginning pd101. He couldn't follow the choreography at all. (That body wave is legendary, though) Now he doesn't stand out in a negative way among others. I'd say he can dance pretty decently now. Freestyle dancing would be difficult, but he can do learned choreo very well. I'm proud of him. And I like his expressions on stage.

And I also love how often adorably awkward his casual/off stage movements are.

Agreed. There are fan accounts saying he's really thin now. Although looking back at his busking videos, he used to be pretty thin too and he's naturally on the more petite side. So I hope he is still in the normal range and doesn't go overboard with dieting.

Me too! I'm so proud of him for the quick improvement. I know some idols that just dance awkwardly even though they have been dancing for years, but Jaehwan's not one of them. To me, he's not a bad dancer, but just an inexperienced one. Also I know he aims to be a serious singer rather than idol, but he's versatile enough to ace these performances. He's just amazing.

On another note, I'm curious if Jaehwan is close to Dongho. I saw a fancam of them talking during encore, and they sat together once during that one elimination. I feel like they might be since the vocalists usually pay attention to each other. 

 

 

I have been wondering about this ever since they sat together during the second elimination........

Also, it wasn't shown in the actual episode (I forgot which episode, I think maybe episode 10?), but from the preview I think Jaehwan was actually Dongho's pick haha.

They should have shown that clip on the real episode haha. I feel like they are close. They are comfortable enough to joke around with each other. It would be great if we could see more of their interactions in the future, even though it's a lot harder now.

I think Jaehwan and Dongho are close. They probably got to know each other during the first group mission through JL Nu'est members. Then during the position evaluation mission, they both were in a vocal unit and Dongho was in a team with Sewoon. They might have interacted quite often behind the scene.  Since they both are vocalists and share a love for music I can see them get along very vell.

I really hope Jaehwan stop dieting. He looks just right on HD camera and he's very skinny in real life. They have pretty intensive work schedule. It's time to stop any food restrictions.
