China is pretty fked if they think these are the beauty ideals. This is basically WMAF.

Seriously when you promote a beauty standard where the female face ideal has features 70% of the population, and male face ideal has features 1% of the population (but "turns out" majority of whites have), you won't have to wonder why we are fucked. If you are wondering why an average white guy would be considered better than 99% of Chinese males, look no further than this.

This is clear demonstration that China current beauty standard is white worshipping. Even the way it choose their male model is inspired by who looks closer to the white face.

And to the people who inevitably take offense to this, if you don't have the balls to self reflect and criticize what's happening in your own culture, you will never solve the problem.

They look Chinese. The man is clearly Asian. There seems to be some assumption that Asians all have a uniform look (monolids, short faces, tan skin, flat features) when that is really not true? When I lived in Japan you'd see dudes walking around who looked kind of like this guy. I know some beauty standards are ridiculous or are a passing trend, but you also have to accept that the most dead-average face of a country will never be the beauty ideal.
