Her image just totally does not suit these shows. 

 

Lets face it, I love Korean variety shows but they are designed for comedians and MC's to rip the hell out of idols and actors. Make them look daft, make fun of their image etc. Basically make them laugh at themselves. CL takes herself and her work pretty seriously for an idol tbh.

 

BigBang are lucky that when they do these shows they have Daesung who is nice, naturally funny and will happily play the fool for laughs. Plus Seungri who often portrays a cocky, arrogant image but will let anyone make fun of him and can tell funny jokes and stories. G-Dragon too, whilst abit off for me, can be a great sport though, see his Infinite Challenge episodes where he seemed to be having fun whilst messing around with his own image.

 

 

Its not that they are not entertaining as I think 2NE1 came across really well on 2NE1tv. It caught their funny moments, their personalities and suited the group far better than going on say Radio Star and getting the piss taken out of them whilst they stick on fake smiles and fake laughs. Would like to see another season of that for their comeback but I think the cameras pissed them off too much in the end.
