She's a very great actress, but she wasn't really well known. That is, until, she was given the lead role, Im Na-mi, for the movie 'Sunny'. Sunny was a huge hit in Korea, and Shim Eun-kyung's acting performance in the movie garnered praise from top directors. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=0J1wz97q5t4 Her latest film, Miss Granny, enjoyed even greater success than Sunny. The movie is about a granny who magically finds herself in a body of a 20 year old after a miraculous incident at a photo studio. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=oEB5xZ4EbgA I haven't seen the movie yet, but I will in the future. Everyone has been saying that it is a great film, so I expect many good things from it. Oh and singing plays a huge role in the movie. I couldn't imagine Shim Eun-kyung singing in the movie, until I saw this: And then I saw her sing Big Bang's 'Lies' during a promotional event for the movie. Its a hard time cuz i must copy n paste korean to find vids abt her. She took a picture with Suju Heechul before.
