The former Knicks guard will reportedly star alongside Korean beauty Jessica Jung in an upcoming biopic about his life, “New Yorker in Beijing.†The film will follow Marbury’s unlikely journey from NBA bust to Chinese basketball hero. The Coney Island native led the Beijing Ducks to three championships, and became the first basketball player ever to receive a green card from the country. There’s also been a museum built in the his honor and a theatrical play about his exploits on and off the court. Jung’s role in the film has yet to be announced, but the pop star’s performance is set to garner plenty of international attention. A former member of Girls’ Generation, Jung deflected from the group in 2015 to branch out as a solo artist. With her album set to drop this spring, the EP reportedly will compete against her ex-bandmates. In addition to putting the finishing touches on her first solo project, the stunner is gearing up to release the latest collection for her clothing line, Blanc & Eclare. Jung, who turned 27 on Tuesday, is living an extraordinary life, despite the hectic work schedule.
