I prefer the new EXILE, mainly because that is the EXILE I first became a fan of. I didn't really know much about EXILE with Shun when I first became a fan.

 

The songs that I prefer are when Takahiro first joined and on onwards.

well I became a fan of EXILE when they started being a 14 member group

I cant really compare which era was good because I enjoyed load of songs/shows/performances on both eras
I know fans that were fans before Takahiro joined the group that misses Shun from time to time

I'm just glad that EXILE and Shun still keeps in touch posting pics of them together on their blogs, doing collabs etc.

Can't choose. SHUN is definitely the better singer than TAKAHIRO, but that's on the vocals themselves. As EXILE, they both have songs I really appreciate.

Shun is really a great vocalist but I prefer Takahiro's deep voice.

They have their unique voices and techniques~ I admit there are songs from EXILE Chapter 1 that only SHUN can do them justice *coughscreamcough* but there are also great EXILE songs that we were only blessed with after EXILE Chapter 2 (to name a few: Ti Amo, which is my all time favorite EXILE song and Change My Mind which is <3333)

The vocal combination Atsushi has with Shun is outstanding, and can overshadow Takahiro's input easily. I don't feel like Takahiro was up fo out-doing anyone, but himself. He has hung on in there, and has infected many with his charmingly mischievous character to a point where it is hard to imagine EXILE without him. He also happens to be vocalized across the best EXILE releases over the past few years that has managed to shape EXILE as the nation's pride.
