I don't think it's the reply 1988 fanwar.In Korea,A huge majority of fans wanted him to get the girl. The final episode was bashed because Taek got the girl instead.

The ratio was 60-65% vs 35-40% according to naver poll around the final week of broadcast so even if there are more viewers who wanted junghwan to get the girl, there were also good amount of people who wanted Taek to get the girl.

 

Because the final episode is bashed, the immature Bogum fangirls dislike Junyeol more as they don't understand why people don't root for Bogum. Kfans fanwar is as messy as ifans fanwar.
