His parents have been already giving out brochures at schools even before the show started.

 

 

Today I saw Produce 101 Kim Yongjin's parents handing out brochures in front of my school, it was raining and both are drenched in rainã… ã… ã… 

They handed the brochures in front of my school, and ask the students to vote for their sonã… ã…  My heart hurts to see it..

-Hul..

-Oh.. I feel like tearing upã… ã… ã… ã… 

-My friend didn't want to receive it so she just ignored them as if they were invisible. They were just like 'I guess you're busy~ Haha' and got over it. It was a really heart-breaking sight to see both of them handing the brochures on their own.

After watching the first episode.

He realized that he got no screentime, and he only ranked at #88, even after all the promotions his parents did.

'No.. I can't cry'

He looked like he lost his soul after that:

 

And after the 2nd episode aired, he posted a status on his facebook, stating how upset and apologetic he felt. (He already deleted it)

No screentime in both 1st and 2nd episodes.

Was I even alive..ã… ã…  Was I even there?

+Despite the lack of screentime I got, I ranked higher this week, I ranked #84 now and I would like to thank everyone who made this possible..ã… ã… 

I feel really sorry towards my family.. What should I do..

 

They used to give an A4 brochures, but now they started to print it with photo papers

 

And he also admitted that he did a plastic surgery because he was bullied because of his looks back when he was still young. He's really talented (He's a rapper, but he's also good at singing and producing music, he has a really nice voice), and he's a hard-worker but he never got any screentimeã… ã… ã… 

 

He might look scary, but he's actually a very cute guy.

And for the recent stage, his group doesn't have any main vocal, so they pointed Yongjin to become their main vocal because of his high-toned voice.

That is really sad. Mnet is giving screentime to the people that the audience want to see, and they're completely forgetting that someone's future is on the line here. But this guy's determination, and his parents' efforts are so heartbreaking to read about. I hope he makes it past the first elimination.

I respect you for still carrying a Haeyoung DP. I think she's a prime example of how a candidate in Produce 101's future is dependent on their screentime as well as their final placing in the show. If only her skill and personality is more highlighted via means of more screentime, and if she had finished more strongly (top 20 at least), people would actually sit up and take notice of her as well as her nugu group. It's a harsh and cruel world.

even top 20 wasn't enough for some of the produce 101 girls. the hype faded strangely fast.

I wish she'd made it into top 35 at the very least?? she was good enough at everything but didn't get enough attention or screentime ever and yeah... I can't watch season 2 do that to people lol. especially seeing how success seemed to only come to the ioi girls and no one else from p101. it feels cruel to know that even if they show their charms despite Mnet's editing, they'll likely still fade into obscurity anyways.

 

and yeah, I've kept my dp because I changed my username from something haeyoung-related and I'd feel bad if I changed the dp too lol

I haven't kept up with her group much lately, I don't exactly stan time-consumingly that often? so it's not my style to stan nugu groups with hard-to-find material ;-;
