[INTERVIEW] SEUNGYOON & JINWOO talks music, hiatus, comeback with Ceci Korea

Recommended Posts

"We were in a situation where we had to prove to people that it was possible for us to overcome the unfortunate things that happened to us and I think that's been proven to some extent"

The truth :rlytearpls:

They always apologize whenever they talk about their hiatus, you can tell this period of inactivity affected them a lot. They couldn't do anything and always felt sorry for us fans who had to wait :rlytearpls: I'm pretty sure this was even harder on them so they don't have to feel sorry...the only thing that matters now is that they've finally come back and can stand on stage in front of their fans. Winner did so well and I'm so proud of them. Let's go up!

I loved the interview! I can't stop saying and writing about how proud I am. Seungyoon is a true artist and the best leader ever, by the other hand, I'm so happy with Jinwoo's improve, he always work hard and I'm glad people can see it. I hope the best for our princesses (?) and let's shine from here to 1000 years in the future.

after reading the interview again. I actually feel really bad that Yoon feels like he has to sacrifice playing the guitar for the sake of Winner's sound. Because ppl were hating on him or criticizing him. The guitar was literally his BABY. And I honestly believe it brings a great dynamic to Winner. But yeah.... I hope he finds it in himself to incorporate it back into Winner's music again. Or at least to their performances when they want to put a different spin to their songs.

seungyoon's selflessness continues to amaze me :rlytearpls:

and that tidbit about jinwoo raising seungyoon :rlytearpls:

the things mentioned in this interview are probably some of the reasons why ICs are willing to wait for winner even with their long hiatus between comebacks

I just want to say, I am glad Seungyoon is WINNER's leader.

I am proud for his determination. I am thankful for his composition, the kind that he said was from a thought to make all members shine.

Seungyoon, you did it my love. You did a great job. Tell them people that you and WINNER will make it.

Hope you'll pick up your guitar again. I'm regretful that he needs to sacrifice his guitar just because of people but I am sure he'll play it again. What a warm interview. Jinwoo is so dependable. Thanks hyung for taking care of Seungyoon.

Yoon has such a warm, selfless soul! I'm glad he is the leader of Winner, but I worry about the burden he must feel and I hope he doesn't lose himself too much while he is so busy trying to promote and support Winner.

I've noticed how supportive the other three members have been to him and how much they've complimented him this comeback. So happy to see all their successes and hope it relieves some of the stress he must feel as the leader. Keep Going Up!!!

To me that part is heartbreaking and I hope he's not serious.

Of all the things to sacrifice for WINNER his guitar is definitely not it and I want to fight whoever made him think that.

Yoon and his neverending obsession with nasigoreng.

Lmao I was gonna say the same. Like kid, your country has a lot more food that is richer in terms of spices than just Nasi Goreng but he's obsessed with it. I can't.

Probably because nasi goreng is as flexible as Yoon is. You could add pretty much anything and still have it be called nasi goreng. There was once upon when I was but a naive child who loved mayonnaise tuna (tuna mayonnaise?) and nasi goreng, and so I used the canned mayonnaise tuna and added in rice and "fried" them, it was super soggy but it was delicious? lol. It was popular with my siblings anyway XD
