The Dense One 605
Review Here ---> http://thedenseone.blogspot.co.uk/2014/02/2ne1-crush-album-review.html Just wanted to add something, both SNSD and 2NE1 have released an amazing Album this year, so can we give them the props they both deserve? This is both of their best work in a number of years... (EDIT: Almost became a Blackjack because of this album, that's how good it was...) shimizu 373
I enjoyed your review, I was just about to ask you to evaluate MTBD in the rap thread but it looks you already done it. And thanks for always being objective, I appreciate how you're always unbiased!
lily_of_west 774
With all due respect and I'm not hating or shading here but "because now she can go back to competing with the other top two female rappers in K-Pop, Yubin and Miryo." Yubin has no place in this statement. When she manages to deliver a verse without sounding like the same (aka like she's reading TV announcements) then we can talk. And again not trying to stir shit up, or hate on Yubin, but really tho...c'mon.

And thanks for always being objective, I appreciate how you're always unbiased! No worries, I sort of just do this stuff for fun anyway! ... Yeah I know, I need to get a life XD With all due respect and I'm not hating or shading here but "because now she can go back to competing with the other top two female rappers in K-Pop, Yubin and Miryo." And again not trying to stir shit up, or hate on Yubin, but really tho...c'mon. The thing about Yubin that puts her in the top 3 is not her delivery. She has the best flow out of the 3 and she has changed up her rapping style in "I Dance", "Like Money" and "The DJ is Mine". The main issue is that JYP rappers often have to rap in the way that JYP directs them to, but Yubin shows some individuality in terms of flow in comparison to the rest of the JYP rappers, in fact they all have different flows but the delivery tends to be the same old tired-ass bullshit. I dunno, maybe I see things differently because I'm a rapper myself, but I honestly think Yubin is in that category.

Burning Rose 38
oh gosh, great and bow to your rational mind. (I haven't read your review though) When I clicked this thread thinking how a review of 2NE1 by a Sooyoung/SNSD fan aka a SONE can be good. I was prepared to attack or defend with sth like this. LOL "Just wanted to add something, both SNSD and 2NE1 have released an amazing Album this year, "LMAO delulu sone SNSD album is trash compared to 2NE1 CRUSH anyway, I noticed you and have seen some of your unbiased analysis in Rap thread, so I want to believe that you will do the same with review. I'll read it after I got home back.

She doesn't have the best flow, what she does have that's working for her more than Miryo or CL have is the deep rich, raspy voice females usually don't have, that almost almost manly (for the lack of better word) tone. People confuse that with her having a good flow. Miryo is the one with the best flow among the 3 she just lacks in delivery and her voice doesn't have that noticeable note CL's voice (for example) has. I have not heard a song that Yubin was on that she didn't sound the same, like a flatline, always the same. But agree to disagree.

I have not heard a song that Yubin was on that she didn't sound the same, like a flatline, always the same. But agree to disagree. Fair enough I can level with that... But the raspiness thing you are talking about is vocal tone, not delivery... Delivery is the emphasis placed on the lyrics as well as how dynamic the actual rap sounds, if it sounds Monotone like Yubin then it is pretty bad delivery... Miryo always had good delivery to me, perhaps not as good as CL's, but I always thought she had the best of both worlds whereas CL had a lacking flow and Yubin lacked in delivery... To each their own I suppose oh gosh, great and bow to your rational mind. (I haven't read your review though) When I clicked this thread thinking how a review of 2NE1 by a Sooyoung/SNSD fan aka a SONE can be good. I was prepared to attack or defend with sth like this. This made me lol I try to be unbiased anyway, there's no point in making a statement or reviewing something if there is a huge amount of bias because then you lose all credibility... Besides what is the point of being so attached to something that you are willing to delude yourself into thinking it is perfection, when it isn't.
