I can't listen to What If by Exo because one time I fell asleep with it on repeat and had a nightmare while it was playing and now the song just sounds like demons tbh

i used to listen to all the ballads on beyonce's i am sasha fierce album during the worst year of my life so i cant listen to them anymore without thinking of that time

I understand that yours are triggered by previous experiences related to that music, however I never had such experiences with Coldplay and The Killers tbh

well i remember awhile ago i was listening to

song and my sister asked why i was listening to it since she said it sounded stressful, but i find it kinda relaxing. i guess it just depends how you react to the style of music and the composition of the instrumental and vocal direction of the song. everyones ear are different so they're gonna react to certain sounds/music differently.

not sure if this counts but the original Lavender Town music from Pokemon RBY gave me so much anxiety as a kid, and still gives me the chills. If I forget to turn off the sound before stepping foot into Lavender Town or accidentally forget that I was in Lavender Town when I last saved and turn the sound on, I would freak out at hearing the first few notes and try to turn off the sound as quickly as possible.

And this doesn't cause me anxiety but just hearing What Makes You Beautiful by One Direction annoyingly reminds me of when I used to live in the dorms and the girls living in the room upstairs would blast that song at a loud volume practically everyday, even during midterms and finals week. imstupid.png

Nothing horrifies me in kpop so far.

I just can't stand a piano instrumental that frequently used in tv whenever there's someone passed away. it makes me feel depressed in no time.

Also lykke li's posibility

ever since that ASPCA commercial I can't listen to Sarah McLachlan's Angel without getting anxious and depressed over animals anymore. Same with Kelly Clarkson's Because of You since it reminds me of my bad abusive relationship with my mother and makes me anxious and cry whenever I listened to it.
