Article: City of Junju, "We are discussing taking legal action against Ye Jung Hwa's harming of the plum blossom tree"

1. [+2,336, -79] Assa ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ she deserves it ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ I hope they go hard on the consequences for her. Being dumb is a crime nowadays.

2. [+2,240, -48] Not only is her going in there an issue but the fact that she broke off a branch too. The branch looks exactly like it came from the tree, how can she claim it was a prop? ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

3. [+1,880, -36] She's screwed ã…‹ã…‹

4. [+172, -0] She's probably running around trying to find a plum blossom tree branch prop ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

5. [+164, -1] This city knows how to get to work ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹

6. [+139, -1] Talk about an utter failure at an attempt to get attention on SNS ã…‹

7. [+122, -0] And yet she tried to lie saying it was just a prop and that she got permission to film there ã…‹ farewell

8. [+79, -0] Wow, this will probably go down in history as an example of digging your own grave on SNS ã…‹ã…‹

Article: Ye Jung Hwa reps, "The prop was a cherry blossom branch, not a plum blossom branch... we apologize personally to the city of Junju"

Source: Sports Chosun via Nate

1. [+1,708, -50] In her last clarification, she said it was a 'plum blossom branch prop'.. now she's saying it's a cherry blossom branch... That still doesn't absolve her from the issue of climbing over the fence when she isn't allowed to...

2. [+1,528, -77] How is that a cherry blossom branch??? It looks like a plum blossom... Cherry blossoms bloom on the branch differently, whereas plum blossoms bloom directly on the branch... You can tell from the photo alone that the flowers are blooming from the branch itself

3. [+1,252, -38] Fighting to the Junju city!!

4. [+139, -0] You still shouldn't be breaking cherry blossom branches either... this goes the same for all you people who go to cherry blossom festivals to shake the trees and break off the flowers

5. [+120, -1] Judging by the picture, the branch she's holding looks the same as the plum blossom tree next to her.

6. [+103, -4] Whether it's a plum or cherry blossom branch, the fact that she broke off a branch at all is already a problem;

7. [+98, -0] She called it a fake prop at first and now she's calling it an entirely different flower ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ã…‹ make up your mind

8. [+90, -1] First it was a prop and now it's a cherry blossom ã…‹ so cherry blossoms are okay to break off to you?

9. [+84, -1] Her lies are just making it worse. She called it a fake prop, now she's calling it a cherry blossom branch. She also claimed that she got permission to film in there but the Junju city just said that they never received contact from her.

10. [+60, -0] I don't even know why it was necessary for her to take this picture. She's not a choding, she obviously has a brain to use so come on..

11. [+58, -0] Pretty sure breaking cherry blossom tree branches hit you with a penalty fee too...

12. [+58, -3] That is not a cherry blossom branch... does she think we're idiots?

Why did she even think it was a good idea to go into a fenced area?

5. [+120, -1] Judging by the picture, the branch she's holding looks the same as the plum blossom tree next to her.

well cherry blossoms and plum blossoms do look similar to each other. You need a trained eye to be able to tell the difference because both come in similar colors. The way you can tell the difference is by the shape of the petals.

Plenty of trees and flora are fenced because of conservation, very disrespectful and dumb of her

yes, it was dumb, but to get into public attention because you wanted an artistic photo and went into a restricted area is laughable. K-ntez are so eager to put someone down.

well, it's not like Koreans are doing coke or getting arrested on a regular basis, being disrespectful and anti nationalistic seem like a big deal in comparison
