Ifans love to watch the fancams of their faves interacting but I understand why kfans wish for cancellation, after all they are the ones the show is addressed now that general public don't care and not even fans are willing to give the show views; For ISAC broadcast to happen idols have to spend long hours of a day to film this event, no matter how physically exhausted and danger to injuries it is (show has numerous controversies over injuries, and miss tratament of idols on it) . They are idols, not sportist and when it would be fair to just send the idols who are athletic and love sports rumour has it that companies can't refuse participation or MBC will be blocking them from appearing on their channel (music programs, tv shows etc.). I mean JYP and SM still send even 1 member of their popular groups there, YG is the only one that don't care since their idols don't promote in MBC, and I can't imagine how powerless is for small companies. I feel like it MBC want an idol group to participate is a must,and fans find themselves in the obligation to go and show their support to their faves which is also tiring and stressing for them. Some korean idols fans have been voicing for years to MBC to cancel the show, in the past it was a great exposure to rookie groups but now people only watch it for their faves and mostly the popular/semi popular idols have the good TV exposure for the ritings their fandoms might bring in. It is one of the highest special shows for MBC. For recent comparison, ISAC LNY2017 got 10.5% viewer rating. 2016 MBC Gayo 6.2% viewer rating.
