Also, being #4 on Melon is in no way "flopping", let's not exaggerate things. I want to clear up some things about The Wall that SNSD undeniably stands behind, because some SONE and non-SONE kpop fans are confused. It just means that no other girl group could match SNSD's success right now. That doesn't mean that no other girl group can chart better than them, because that's clearly not true (except for physicals) That doesn't mean that SNSD will beat out any digital hit that comes out simply because they're SNSD That doesn't mean that they're immune from dropping in their position a few spots. That said, it's still at #2 with no MV, only photo teasers, no promotions, and an accidental early release. I'd say that's decent for a "bland and forgettable" song, regardless of who it is. Their fandom can only do so much, I think that's clear with TVXQ. The Wall refers to their status in the k-pop industry. SISTAR, 2NE1, Chocolat, or whoever can hit roofs all day long. At the end of the day, they will not be the big stars that SNSD is while SNSD is still standing. Currently, they are untouchable. Also, I just wish if people are gonna brag that they do it right. We can't act invincible, because we're not. Don't be butthurt because you bragged and now you're looking stupid (although there really isn't anything to look stupid about, bitches are reaching for the moon today). No one had any idea how well the song would do. It's quite possible that 2NE1 is going to beat SNSD, not gonna deny. We'll never know if it was because of the advantage they have right now or not. But with the cards in 2NE1's favor, if SNSD still comes out on top.... I promise you won't hear the end of it. The ones that were making a huge a deal out of it were actually those that don't know how digital charts work, aside from the usual antis of course. Because if you look at it the other way, SNSD is doing very well despite having no MV, no promotions and no effort from SM at all. Btw, Forbes Korea just released their newest list this morning and guess what? SNSD just reclaimed their title as Korea's Most Powerful Celebrity. Anyone who actually uses it regularly (and especially uses it for a song they don't like) shouldn't be taken seriously, regardless of what fandom they represent. I'm not even a full-blown blackjack, but I'm certain that almost all of them only care about the great place that 2NE1 is in right now, with their amazing visuals and production finally coming back and the long waited incoming album.
