On April 19, HyunA, Hui, and E’Dawn talked about coming together as Triple H at a press conference, saying, “We’ve known each other for a long time and we’ve shared a lot of music with each other.†HyunA also shared her thoughts on how Triple H is receiving attention and being compared to her previous successful unit group Trouble Maker. “I’d be lying if I said it wasn’t a burden. But as much as I felt burdened, I was able to work harder.†she said. “It’ll be nice if I can do better than my last album, but I’m happy to be able to do what I want to do, and work with two artists who make trendy new music.†Hui and E’Dawn also expressed their satisfaction in being able to work with HyunA. “In the beginning, we were trainees and HyunA was our senior,†Hui said. “It was hard to approach her at first because of how much I respected her. However, once we started practicing together, she felt like a real sister. She would also help us like a teacher and look after us like a mother.†E’Dawn shared, “Honestly, she’s scary. xoxox 3,818 Posted May 3, 2017 Share Posted May 3, 2017 Triple H Talks About First Impressions And Why Hyuna Went With Triple H Over Troublemaker - Soompi On May 3, Triple H members HyunA, Hui, and E’Dawn appeared as guests on MBC FM4U’s “Kim Shin Young’s Hope Song at Noon.†During the radio broadcast, HyunA explained why she made a comeback with Triple H instead of Troublemaker. “It was half my choice and half the company’s choice. I recently celebrated my 10th debut anniversary and my company suggested that I try something new. I liked the idea and that’s why I chose to make a comeback through Triple H,†she said. Later in the program, the members talked about their first impressions of each other. Hui was the first to speak on this topic and said, “At first, I was afraid of HyunA, but now I feel comfortable around her because we are close.†HyunA followed-up Hui’s statement and said, “Before we became friends, he couldn’t even look at me for more than one or two seconds. But now, he makes eye contact with me when we are talking and I like that.†E’Dawn also shared his first impression of HyunA and bluffed, “I wasn’t afraid of HyunA since the beginning.†Having been in the industry the longest, HyunA also revealed how she tried to protect Hui and E’Dawn by forbidding them to check any comments related to Triple H online. “I was afraid that if they checked the comments and saw something negative, they would not be able to show everything they have to offer. She commented, “It is not possible for everyone to like it. xoxox 3,818 Posted May 9, 2017 Share Posted May 9, 2017 Triple H Talks About How They Came To Know Each Other Before Forming A Unit - Soompi On May 8, Cube Entertainment’s subunit Triple H (HyunA, PENTAGON’s Hui and E’Dawn) appeared as guests on the SBS Power FM radio show “Lee Guk Joo’s Young Street.†Lee Guk Joo asked the group, “I’m curious as to how the three of you came to meet.†E’Dawn said, “When I was still a trainee, she’d asked me to feature on some of her performances so we became a little closer through that. After that we stayed in contact occasionally. I would ask her advice if I was having any difficulties, and we’d talk through music issues and concept ideas. We worked together a lot so our company must have thought it was a good idea to put us together.†Lee Guk Joo also asked HyunA if other people found it difficult to approach her due to her sexy and confident image. Triple H was named as such because HyunA and the two PENTAGON members in the unit, Hui and E’Dawn, all have H in their names (E’Dawn’s real name is Hyojong). However, there is also an American pro wrestler and WWE champion named Triple H. During a recent interview, HyunA said that she didn’t think that it would be a problem that they both had the same name. She said, “He’s so famous that I don’t think he’ll find it a problem.†She then added, “Hui and E’Dawn both told me that they were fans of the wrestler Triple H since they were young.†She also showed how proud she was of her group by giving this shared name as an example. She said, “At the time we debuted, when you typed ‘Triple H’ into the search engine, [the wrestler] came up first.
