According to a recent article on Korean news outlet eToday, EXO will be releasing their 2nd studio album in the first half of this year before doing full-scale promotions in China in the second half of 2014!

This year, the boys will be busy with not only concerts but also show appearances, CF modeling, events, and more.

In relation to the boys' promotions in China, researcher Kim Si Woo said that the country was so large and the group was so popular that they would most likely be very successful as they traveled around and participated in various concerts and events.

Stay tuned for future updates!

This is really off topic, but I don't know why so many people say "SM is taking my money!" or imply that Kpop albums are expensive. I've bought all of my Exo albums for $40 or less, and who considers that pricey? I mean is there really a struggle to by Kpop records?

What happened to their Japanese promotions and debut?

They're not debuting in Japan or promoting. They're just having some showcases/mini concerts.

Promoting in Japan doesn't mean they have to release something in Japan.

And as far as I know, SM hasn't announced that EXO will "debut" in Japan?

SM can promote them simultaneously both Japan & China at the same time.

SM already did promoting EXO in Korea & China that way, so, Japan & China, Idt its a problem for SM & EXO.

I'm hoping that they do have an actual debut in Japan and release music, and they probably will, but as of right now, there's been no news of that. There were some mistranslations that led people to think that, but nah.

Promoting in Japan = more money/higher currency though

and China seems to have to deal with big piracy issues. Ah, well, whatever seems to float sm's boat.

it supposed t be more than 40$ (including poster) and most people are under 18, they don't have that much to afford one after another .. esp since it said to be a full album which is more expensive than a mini so it will be around 60$ or more .. not just album alone but they buying more than that, such as some goods like season greetings dvd and more ... (not to say they collect their oppars photocard)

I guess that's true. I was thinking in terms of the album only because DVD's aren't always included, and posters only tack on a couple more bucks.

I'm glad that they're promoting in China again.  I loved OT12 promoting Growl together in Korea, but I also wanted EXO-M to stay in China so the Korean members can actually learn more of the language so when they're on Chinese variety shows, they can talk more.  Correct me if I'm wrong, but I believe DBSK and BoA mastered Japanese by staying and promoting in Japan for a few years.  Chen & Xiumin's Mandarin has improved a lot though.  In the beginning, I couldn't understand a single word, but Chen's pronunciation in Miracles in December was really great.
