They practically share a face. I'm happy he's gaining a fanbase already though and that he's active. It seems he's given up on the possibility of trainee life and is instead doing it all himself while still leaning towards pop.

but, he really need to control his voice tho..it gonna hurt his voice for the long run...lol

I know he was still taking guitar lessons earlier this year, but I hope he's also taking vocal training. His voice is an instrument too and if he want to utilize its full capabilities safely for years to come, he needs a good instructor.

Talking from a non-experts pov, I like the way he sings, with a lot of emotions, maybe because I'm a soul and rock fan but using a bad technique can be really appealing music/sound wise. So, I'm kinda torn about that, I want him to have good a technique but I don't want him to sing "properly" 100% if that's going to limit his sound or personal colour.

 

I get what you're saying. I'm not a professional either and I definitely care more about the sound of the actual music/the emotion than whether someone has good technique (because I won't be able to spot the latter anyway), but I still subscribe to the saying about knowing the rules before you break them. You don't have to follow proper technique from beginning to end, but you should be able to for any give song. And knowing it can only help, allowing your voice to reach its full potential so that you're capable and stable while doing all the things you want to do with it.

 

TLDR: Ultimately, I think a vocal coach will only help him as he will be able to focus on things like being emotive and engaging with the audience rather than technical stuff like stability and hitting the right notes.

I'm not sure if I understand exactly what you mean, but you can purchase it on iTunes like a regular single.

Oh wow! I think Wonyoung is friends with her. It looks like it was right before or after the "All That Music" recording because Wonyoung and Taehyun are wearing the same clothes as at the recording.

Yes and it seems like he has a few industry connections (maybe because he's drummed for them?). It's nice that Taehyun got to meet her at the recording since he likes her music.
