Gloupipoo 1,619 Posted April 8, 2017 Share Posted April 8, 2017 I first noticed anticlimatic songs being selected as singles with RedVelvet's Rookie Since then, most groups have followed that pattern of chat and pre-chorus worthy choruses (think IGAB) Examples: Gugudan's A girl like me Lovelyz's Wow! OMG's Colouring book I won't count Pristin's debut song in there because while the song is all over the damn place the chorus is catchy AF Can you think of other examples? It seems to go from the verse to the pre-chorus, then back to the verse, and finally to some kind of outro that sounds like the end of the song. It's like they cut out the chorus entirely.
