I was enjoying my wine and my date when all of a sudden everyone in the restaurant could hear a waiter in the kitchen talking very loudly. He basically was saying that muslims are cancer, and that "normal" muslims were not muslims, true muslims are all extremists, yada yada Everyone in the restaurant looked extremely uncomfortable. I was about to record that mofo and send it to a news outlet but then again he was the owner's 14yo son and it's my favourite restaurant and I'd feel bad for it to close down because of a stupid teenager (I've been going to that restaurant for 7+ years and the owners are super nice, I used to flirt with the eldest son) When our waiter came back, my date told him: "I don't know if you noticed... but your kitchen is VERY close to the dining room, and your coworkers are talking very loudly so I don't know which one of them decided he was a Quran scholar tonight but I strongly recommend you telling him to tone it down."
