Jiyul deserves more attention from HF, in the latest songs she barely sings...

So many pages I backtracked lol

Didn't they sorta do that with mr. Bang bang? They had feathers I think lol

MBB didn't give me the tribal feel, it was more cowgirl stuff

I don't really like the term underrated, but I do think it applies when talking about Jiyul.

I have always thought she was the most talented and well rounded member of the group.  I'll explain if anybody really cares, lol.

I don't think you need to explain because I'm sure we all agree.

I think Jiyul is talented but I don't know if she's the most talented member... maybe she really is, but what evidence you have to state that chris?

^ I think she's a triple threat.

She's proved her vocal talent on a few shows, but "Hit U" was what really established this for me.  Woohee is good vocalist as well, but I haven't really seen enough from her yet... Most of their "Mr. BangBang" stages were pre-recorded and she doesn't really have that much spotlight in "Have, Don't Have".  When the girls first debuted, I was convinced Jiyul was added purely for visuals, as she lip-sync'd every "Supa Dupa Diva" stage.  I'm glad to know it was because her voice didn't really fit that concept.  I think if DS does another vocal-focused song like "Hit U", she's going to have a lot more fans.

As for dancing, Jiyul isn't the first member to come to mind, but I do think she's up there with Serri.  She was really overshadowed when Viki was in the group, as Viki was the main dancer, main rapper and practically a lead vocalist, so nearly everything went to her.  If you watch their "

" stage, you can really see Jiyul getting into it.  She also works the hell out of the hair flipping going on during "Hit U" stages.  (My personal favorite of her is here.)

Variety wise, Subin is obviously the best in group.  Jiyul isn't really funny like Subin is, but she has the air of maturity to her which is perfect for MCing.  If you notice when DS does interviews, Jiyul tends to take the center and discuss the topics / answer questions, despite Serri being the leader.  She's a really good speaker.  I don't know if acting goes under variety, but I do think she's better than she's given credit for.  (Some of her stuff here & here.)

Obviously these are just my opinions, but Team Jiyul tbh.

Yeah I know right? o-o I remember one time Viki sang the chorus instead of Serri but that's it.

I joined the fandom around "Hit U" and I was so impressed with her singing. Then I looked at the other songs and became sad because she got only one line. But it makes sense because Jiyul has a more mature voice.

I really love Jiyul because she can morph into cute and sexy and work it so well. She won't look awkward.

What I'm trying to say is that I really love Jiyul. LOL  :ilikeit:

Also

@Ahyoung's hands

.... My left hand is exactly like Ahyoung (flexible? idk)

You have very good arguments, and that just makes me want to see more of Jiyul.

She stand out more when doing mature concepts than cute ones, at least IMO. But since DS will always focus more in the cutesy side, it's good that she can pull out that too.

And just to finish, I always thought that Jiyul has the hottest body among the members.

I'm not so sure about that... From all the songs they promoted, Hit U was the only one mature....

I think they will still use the cute concepts for some years and once in a while do a mature concept

^ I love when she sings that song!  She did it on

as well.

I wouldn't mind it, but I don't think they'll do a dark / fierce concept with their next release.

Whoever decides the dates of their comebacks really knows what song to pick for the season, and I can't imagine a "Hit U"-esque song as a summer jam.

From allkpop:

After the performance, Ah Young shared the screencap through her me2day and lamented, “I didn’t even realize I looked like this on the broadcast.. *sigh* Why wasn’t I aware of this? Ah, I’m upset, but why am I laughing?â€
