[Rumour] Ex-YG trainee Lee Seoyeon is now in SM

Recommended Posts

To take with a grain of salt, there are rumours spreading between kfans that Lee Seoyeon who was a YG trainee is now under SM.

She's the girl wearing a white tshirt and black shorts in the video:

She was rumoured to have been kicked out from YG because she was dating. Again all these are just rumours !!

I'm baffled by how so many people think YG trainees are the only ones stuck in the dungeon. As if there aren't tons of trainees in the dungeons of SM, JYP, and other companies lmfao.

I wouldn't trust that twitter account, they always post these kind of "rumors" but most of them are false. also they never post their source.

as for Seoyeon, I think she isn't in YG anymore cause she hasn't been in any recent pics with the rest of YG girls. but I wish her luck to find a new agency.

I feel like most of the time it's said as a joke so don't really take it seriously laugh.png

SM needs to find prettier girls cause so far they are almost all ugly

It's kind of crazy to post rumors without at least one reliable source. It's the same as picking up any theory of conspiracy and posting on that forum as rumor, many will believe.

and a lot of innocent & normal (and extrainees too) girls had to close the instagram / facebook accounts when they were disturbed by kpop fans who believed in rumors about trainee life or something.

Anyway, you can post rumors, but try to have a reliable source or photos at least smile.png

Idk why you're getting worked up for nothing lmao

A rumour is a rumour and this isn't even some vicious one that can affect her. I guess you're just not happy a YG trainee went to SM....

Sure, but YG's rate of debuting new groups has been very slow.  Like, since BB (5), they had 2ne1 (only 4 girls), WinKon (12 guys?), and BP (4 girls).  Whereas JYP has has WG (5+2), 2PM (7), 2AM (4), Miss A (4), 15& (2), Got7 (7), Day6 (6), Twice (9).  So since 2006, YG has debuted 25 idols in groups, while JYP debuted 45.  OTOH, SM has debuted SNSD (9), Shinee (5), f(x) (5), Exo (12), RV (5), NCT (??????).  So even excluding NCT, that's 36, and of course TVXQ/CSJH/SuJu weren't that much earlier either.

Of course your chance of debuting still depends on how many other trainees there are, and that could be significantly different, but JYP/SM debut groups much more reliably than YG does.

ie. if you join JYP/SM, every 2 years or so you can probably expect them to debut a group for your gender.  You may or may not get in, but they'll probably put one out there.  But if it's YG, the wait seems like it will be more like 5 years.

Lmao how are you going to count 15& but not AKMU? And debuting "more reliably" doesn't mean they have less trainees in the dungeon so I'm not sure what you're getting at. If anything, SM and JYP debuting more groups means they have more trainees, therefore more trainees in the dungeon.

I forgot about AkMu, but sure, let's throw them in there.  It doesn't change the final numbers much.  I didn't want to say Lee Hi, though, because then I'd have to say BAY and I think there are other JYPE soloists I can't quite think of (some not there anymore).

They may or may not have more trainees, but they're not fucking with them by not even debuting any trainees at all.  There's always going to be a trainee surplus because not everyone can debut, but YG could have put out more groups between 2ne1 and Winner than they did.

YG isn't obligated to debut more groups. They also don't have a company policy or vision statement on their website saying they want to debut a million groups or that every trainee will debut either so how are they "fucking with them" in that way? The trainee system is shitty no matter what company lmao. I simply said it's bizarre how people think YG is the worst when other companies do the very same thing. It's funny how transparent y'all are.
