Tourist animals get in.. (Most expensive cities in the world)

I was just reading this interesting article listing expensive cities around the world. Singapore was listed as the most expensive city for the 4th year in row and I knew Singapore was expensive even tho I have never visited just through some friends. 

 

I'm Copenhagen based and I was surprised it was placed on 9th place and I view it as 50-50 not expensive nor cheap but I have been to both Dubai and Switzerland not so long ago and I can tell you they are both far more expensive cities then Copenhagen especially Dubai. Me and my friend wasted alot of money and most it was from loan so we had to pay that money back for nearly 9-months from our wages. 

 

I was nearly close to go bankrupt due to Dubai because we stayed there for a month and the night life truly surprised us as I use to be into nightlifes but not anymore luckily. Everything was expensive especially the Taxi, Nightclub drinks, visiting luxury island places + the hotel's and not to forget the malls.

 

So I would place Switzerland and Dubai right below Singapore. While cities like Paris, Madrid, Berlin etc etc are more moderate like 50-50.

London, Stockholm, Frankfurt are damn expensive aswell .

 

and i knew Singapore will be first

London is expensive to live but I found the prices of thing to be rather normal. Never been to anywhere else beside England and canada.
