Sana Nana 505 Posted April 7, 2017 Share Posted April 7, 2017 Hi Carats! I discovered Pretty U through my ultimate biased group TWICE last February. You probably all know by now that they covered the song in TWICELAND. The melody of the song stuck with me so I checked out the MV. However, I was disappointed that the song is like 50-50 rap vs melody. I'm used to songs with 75-25 or 25-75 ratios. I want more of that melody and since I was left unsatisfied, I didn't think much of them anymore. But then, TWICE played it again in their Black Pork VLive so I decided to check it again and I ended up playing it over and over again even now. I think that I'm ready to like them. So now I'm here. IF you don't want any rapping at all check out the songs by their vocal unit : 20, When I Grow Up, the 2 versions they did of Adore U, Don't Listen in Secret and Woozi's solo Simple. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=OfEJ6OK4fTQ Otherwise, my fave songs (other than the title tracks) are probably Popular Song, Still Lonely, Chuck, Healing, Highlight, Fast Pace, Well/I don't Know and Lean on Me Popular Song has more of a RnB ballad vibe Still Lonely and Healing are more funky/groovy Well/I don't Know and Lean on Me are more chill, slow songs Highlight and Chuck are more EDM tracks Fast Pace has a sexy latin dance feel Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

It's a good song to jam especially if you're in a band but I don't think it'll stay with me. Seungkwan will probably have a TV series soundtrack single in the future (if he doesn't have already). But Woozi's parts were definitely the highlight for me. Pretty U = Don't Listen in Secret - I already love Pretty U so this is a no brainer. - However, for Don't Listen in Secret, the more I listen to it, the better it gets. ⤠And of course, Woozi's part is swoon-worthy. If I fall in love with Seventeen, he's got dibs on my bias title with Minghao. 3. Hit Song - Fun song! Even the rap sounds good. I really really enjoyed the pre-chorus and chorus. 4. Simple - Woozi's voice and the melody, especially the melody 5. 20 - What can I say, I love fun and light songs with pleasant melodies. It's a crowd-pleaser song.
