I just finished the first episode and i'm in love.The story seems prosing. It's kinda sad to watch how they made Naruto "a bad father" tho souleyesplz.png  I can't wait the next episode.

 

I will probably read the manga after the anime. I read Naruto first and then started to watch anime. I found the anime a little boring because i knew most of the events and results, but i'm actually enjoying those oh so hated fillers...

lmao i wonder how long the anime will take to catch up to whatever was shown in the beginning scene. i really loved the episode, i thought it was cute and lets us see the built up relationships with the next gen. i rlly love that boruto and shikadai are close already and that he calls konohamaru onii chan. 

but i cant wait for the plot to become more serious and the tech/ninjutsu stuff.

I loved the first episode (although I was a bit disappointed my favorite character Chocho barely appeared) and I think this could potentially be an amazing spinoff if they can avoid rehashing too much plot from the original series.

 

Also I hope they'll tell us the names of the two new characters (beside Denki) that appeared throughout the OP animation in the next episode:

I'm so upset. Seriously it makes me so annoyed that they made Naruto a shitty father. 

it wasnt a relationship that I was expecting, I thought their relationship was going to be like how Naruto and Konohamaru were when they were younger I mean....

Seriously you would think Naruto would be a more involved and considerate dad because he would want to be the dad that he never had. Instead they are making it like Boruto has no father figure to give Boruto some, "I struggled with adversity character development", so people would actually  be interested in Boruto as a lead character.

 

 

Face it Boruto having a father who works late isn't enough to make him an interesting main character that you can milk entire series around. They are either going to further ruin Naruto's character or maybe, even kill Naruto off so that Boruto can grow out of Naruto's shadow.

 

Honestly if they want to make Boruto a long running, interesting tv series they either have to introduce more interesting side kicks or kill Naruto off. Because Naruto ended with there really being no major evil villains left. Literally Naruto defeated the Goddess of Ninjas, freaking extraterrestrial being.

 

I would have just preferred if they did a series about Naruto's first couple years as Hokage. Or maybe a series about Gaara and the other village leaders and give other villages more of a backstory. 

 

 

Hell killing off Sasuke could get more excited about the series.

Last episode was lit

 

the scene that bothered me the most and will bother me the whole anime is the first 30secs of episode 1

 

I dont like it how it jumps like 12yrs ahead and we see Adult Boruto, and I dont like it how Naruto was killed (ik he's obviously not really dead, but no matter what the context is, its dumb that they added that in)

For me~~:

 

1.) Sarada Uchiha 

-Obviously. SasuSaku's love child. >,< Strong with ambition. dont mess her up Ikemoto/SP!! >:///

 

2.) Chocho

- Love her, she is just so sassy and funny.

 

3.)Shinki

- Looks cool and mysterious. Love that he has both the Iron Sand and controls puppets. An interesting combination. Can't wait to see his full potential. Btw, love his character design

 

4.) Kawaki

- Good- looking hurrplz.png

 

5.) Inojin

- I somewhat liked his attitude towards Boruto. And how his art is different from his father's. His personality is a bit honest like  his father, but with attitude like his mother. Inherited parents' sharp tongue.

I'm patiently waiting for the release of ep.4 in 4 hours. .-.

 

So by killing time here's what I think so far in the anime/manga/movie, ITS GOING TO BE LONNNGGG:

 

Boruto

- A genius unlike his father

- Acts up for attention from Naruto, I wonder if he was like this before Naruto became Hokage?

- Basically lives well, no dirty clothes when worn

- Likes making friends, similar to Naruto in this way

- Not close with Inojin initially, but close to Shikadai

 

Sarada

- Has her parent's tongue towards others

- Acts both like parents

- Basically never seen her father in a long long long long long long long long long long long time

- Besties with chocho

 

*Mitsuki hasn't appeared yet on anime*

I thought all the new gen kids would be close with each other because of their parents but I was surprised they're not. So far in the anime it seems:

- Sarada and Boruto were 'childhood friends' in a way. Know each other well enough.

- Boruto and  Shikidai are friends.

- Sarada is somehow close to Chocho.

- Inojin is not close with Boruto at all based on how he first viewed him in ep.3

- Metal Lee is not close with neither Shikidai or Boruto, even though I thought Naruto and Lee were great friends.

- Chocho seems chill with a lot of people.

I guess Boruto will deal with the prejudice from others because he is the hero's and the current Hokage's son. In which, he wants to prove them wrong. I wonder if once they do, do missions will Sarada face any troubles from the people or other villages because she is Sasuke's daughter and from the Uchiha clan. Will they want other kids to have a crush on her because Sakura had a few kids doing that to her as well. Boruto (thinking it will happen after the Boruto Movie) will defend Sarada, arguing with those who still scorn Sasuke for his past actions. 

 

Re-watching the Chunin exams from Naruto, damnn, Boruto is like child's play. Naruto had such a dark undertone during the chunin exams, but I understand that Naruto doesn't want a war-like environment anymore so that's why the chunin exams in the movie wasn't so dark. But it kind of kills it for me. I actually liked the dark aspect Naruto series was. 

 

I'm eager to see how Ikemoto will try to expand Kishimoto's original series which was a masterpiece.

I think this Kawaki vs Boruto thingy shouldn't end in 'happy butterflies with rainbows' ending like how it did in Naruto vs Sasuke. I think one of them has to die kukukukukuuuu~~~ If not, it's just going to be the same. But I'm sure Ikemoto wants that "FRIENDSHIP CONQUERS EVERYTHING' aspect to it. So fine, whatever...dont kill anyone off.

 

Basically it's TECHNOLOGY vs. the OLD NINJA WAY

 

yayyyy how exciting...(sarcastic)

 

btw i hate this BoruSara ship. go away. I rather have Sarada x kawaki or sarada x shinki~~~

So far I'm liking the Boruto anime, I think the manga will be slower.

Hopefully there wont be too much filter, I'm wondering if Boruto's eyes is the same as Hinata's, we all know Himawari has the same one as Hinata's but not sure about Boruto's.

 

The anime looks promising, how the kids inherit their parents skills and they all seems to be much better ninjas already compare to Naruto's time.

The competition is tougher, I guess it will makes is more interesting.

I do hope there will be more interaction between Naruto and his family.

Why wait for this generation to have hybrid clan kids? Every ninja in Naruto's generation were only full breeds. Now they got kids mixed from different clans with different Kekkei Genkais. lol
