I attributed it to regina and added the regal aspect to show how truly gone she is, mentally. It can but it's not entirely correct though, it usually stems from translating the spanish/portuguese: "hijo/filho de/da puta",into a close expression widely used in english: "son of a bitch", so it became accepted in a way.
