Sergeant_Im 1,249 Posted March 30, 2017 Share Posted March 30, 2017 and no CFs or concerts are they still poor?? depending on how 'high' the digital sales is because they get very very little percentage out of music sales unless they produce the songs themselves. most singer only get a few cents of royalty out of the sale of 1 unit of track. let say a track is $1.99 ... they might get like 2~3 cents per song purchase. i love maths, so let's calculate something take example of EXID nugu days. 'every night' single sold about 105,000 units (rough number on gaon). in its debut week. lets just say they make 2 cents per song as royalty. does anybody have the gaon 1 month sale number? $0.02 x 105,000 = $2,100 Divide by 5 members, each member gets $420. This is just an example of sales royalty only and by no means its an accurate representation of what they earn.
