This isn't an organic relationship- Fan and idol. Now that that disclaimer is out of the way, I dislike Jre and will continue to with how he leeches off kpop fans who need validation with his dull non-reactions and latches onto whatever is popular for the clicks. Nothing he does seems genuine unless its about the groups I know are his faves. So yeah... I dislike him. It is what it is. He'll continue to do what he does. KPOP reactions is a small youtube genre and JRE definitely does that stereotypical thing where a smallish youtuber acts like a big fish in a small pond but he helps Kpop by being an accessible, friendly face for people just getting into it. it's not as big an issue now because everyone understands in 2017 that Kpop isn't just for Asians but it helped a lot that he was multiracial and people saw you could look like w/e but still love Kpop. he doesn't do the best reactions ever he's just a regular guy but he keeps it positive, which is what Kpop should be about, esp with the tween and young fans, instead of the shitstorm it often becomes when girl hormones and jealousy get into the mix but you guys really can stop hating on him doing his thing for no reason other than he has a successful channel Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
