According to the article above, she was young so she did not understand the matter so she took no big deal about it. Now she is older she realized the seriousness of the controversy. I also saw "High School Rapper" so I think either she was asked because Swings appeared there, or she saw him there and couldn't stand it, or people ask her about the controversy more often because Swings started to be in TV again, so she vented up her frustration. She was really young then (like 7 years old) so its not like she could have been out there making statements and stuff, she probably had the reality of how shitty that was dampened down by the people around her, since she was literally a child who's mother had committed suicide and they likely didn't want to make her have to relive that experience over and over again. But now she has to see this man on TV and through other media and she's able to understand that he literally used her family's suffering as a punch line in a stupid rap and now she's old enough to speak out on it so its understandable she would say something about it. It is pretty damn disrespectful. I agree that it must be hurtful for the children. But using a well know tragic event in the history of a country to emphasize and give more impact to an idea is something that is used in rap lyrics. His mistake was making it personal with the kids. His mistake was making it personal with the kids. he used this lyrics to diss another rapper. if ur mom suicided and someone use it just to make pun with her name, wouldn't you be offended?
