They'll imitate behavior that they consider Korean, such as using Korean words, in an attempt to adopt the culture and 'be more korean'. The problem is that most of the behavior they imitate comes from sketchy sources like Kdramas and variety shows. These sources don't represent the general behavior of Koreans. Unlike what those shows show you, aegyo is something no grown man or woman would actually do, but koreaboos think that's normal behavior. Basically, they have an inaccurate and incomplete view of Korean culture, which they then use to imitate a culture they have nothing to do with. llyx 1,300 Posted February 23, 2014 Share Posted February 23, 2014 ...at least Korea is respected. I don't see Chinaboos and Russiaboos and Africaboos and Mexicoboos. It's totally okay, great even, to not have 'boo's for a particular country, but the country has got to be respected by other countries and other people. I doubt that before kpop and anime, not a lot of countries respect Korea/Japan or like them in general. Even though there is still racism towards Asians, at least there are international kpop and anime fans to defend.
