I still hope some company makes a vocal group with all the good dropout vocalists from idol school. You can add Haein now to the 3 other ones (Nayeon,Dahee,Sia)

So competition is really tough. It's like 2009 - 2011 for GG's all over again. So the cute innocent thing is pretty much taken by GF right now, the girl crush is taken by BP, the quirky cute is taken by Red Velvet, the mature sound is taken by MMM, and the colorful sound is taken by Twice. Almost every route is occupied at the moment. We gotta hope for a break out hit (Expectation, Gee, Cheer Up, Tell Me, TT, Mister,) or else they won't do so well and the girls will get thrown in the dungeon of whatever company is running them.

There are more in second string too, and even in 3rd there is much talent. (Imho)

Sexy is not really occupied with AOA not performing but we'll that's not successful und will not really fit FromIs_. I would really think the biggest competitors are Twice,Gfriend and Red Velvet, not so Mamamoo or Blackpink and not so Pristin too. I would see them where April/Elris/clc are, maybe better. Wish them anyway look even all my favs are out :(

Oh yeah I know their are more groups in tier 2 and 3. I am just saying that companies are all about money. If these girls can only sell 5,000 albums and 10,000 Digitally they aren't profitable and whichever company that owns them will stop wasting money and stop promoting the girls or rarely give them anything.

 

It'd be good if they can average out 25K - 50K album wise and 200K - 500K digitally. That would make the group averagely profitable imo.

True, question is: can they reach it with the low ratings for idol school. If they go innocent they go against Gfriend,April,CLC,Apink and Elris. Needs some advertising ! And there also is Loona to debut sooner or later ... Edited by Difmag

Doubt it.

Loona is the same predicament. Both groups are a complete toss up. Both groups could find success, one group can find success, and both groups can flop. It just depends overall.

Well with all that money spend on Loona and their visuals I doubt they will fail, with Fromis I don't know what the company will spend in them ...

Wow... Haein, Natty, Eunyoung and Sian just made their instagram accounts private. Looks like smoke has turned into fire... looks like there might be a group-based project sooner than later. Or they might join another group in Pledis Entertainment. I think it will be just those 4 though because other eliminated student's instagrams are still there except for Haneul as she wants to focus on school I think. 

Yep looks like ... saddly Nayeon seems still searching (some depressed comments and also still public :/)
