It can't be helped I was in the JYP ngg thread before it was announced Natty had left and a lot of us were shocked and sad. TBH I think you  also should pay more attention to someone that can be Yoo Yeonjung or Ha Sungwoon material from Produce 101 both seasons. They are not so noticeable but they can show their talent, especially as the main vocal material

 

I'm not into Natty-hype much because she was declared perfect due to easier part that she sung, however there are several girls, like Siah and Sun who nailed Taeyeon part well

 

I'm afraid if the hype is too much, the impact will be like what happened in Produce 101, in which both Yeonjung and Sungwoon were hated due to their position at 11th place, even without acknowledging their main vocal material. Especially in Produce 101 Season 2, the hype of someone (you know who) is too much, leading to major disappointment.

 

No offence, just advice for you

 

You say you don't mean offense when your saying I should change MY bias. I am offended you might not like Natty but that doesn't mean others don't. I didt even say anything about the the girls becouse I haven't seen the episode yet. Also I'm not interested in yeonjung or Sungwoon becouse I already had my favorites in Somi, Pinky and Yoojung and boys in Nuest, Samuel and little WooJin. My point is is that that was very rude to say change your bias becouse you don't like the hype. I have been following her for 2 years but I guess I should only care about main vocal becouse that's all that's important in a IDOL group, if that were the case Luna would be more popular then she is

I didn't asked you to change bias, I advised people to also pay attention to other trainee too, they also deserved to get the same attention. Unfortunately I don't know Natty much, since I follow Twice and Somi after debut and after PD101, so I'm pretty sorry if that I offended you. She got perfect score, #1 at vocal yes I know (However she was evaluated on easier part, that is Sunny and Hyoyeon's part). I think she deserved to be the hype now. 

 

However, there are several girls, especially the ones nailed Taeyeon's part are barely recognized, and I wish someone started to talk about them

 

That's why I'm afraid if there is something worst happen to her, there will be a huge disappointment, and the one who is "less popular" become the victim of the disappointment. 

 

A team of 9 is supposed to have 2-3 main vocal materials, and I also hope that there are people who are more suitable for the position. As for your information, my favorite is actually Tasha, the oldest one. Since she is pretty good at vocal and dance too.

I stan on perenality most of the time and I'm watching the show so I will probably find other favorites but as subs haven't come out yet I have no opinion on the other girls. Idols could have the best voice but they will get no attention if they don't connect. I say this as a Luna fan. Even the post above rubs me the wrong way becouse it seems like your writing off Natty just becouse of the hype. I'm not expecting Natty to be main vocal or anything or to be the best vocal. Also there will always be disappointment for something we wish people's bias could have done better it's all part of the game

That's what the show is for, to get them noticed. It's only episode 2 and a lot of girls with no previous fame are already being noticed and one of them just placed 1st. By episode 11 the finalists followings will be much more intense. It's the nature of a 100% audience voting show. Of course post-debut it'll come down to their agency to take advantage of that kind of exposure.

Again more then 9 and I would only stan individuals, that is my personal preference becouse then I don't think it's fair to the other girls

I'm not completely satisfied with these performance. From fanaccounts I assumed that Whistle was the best performance but I actually didn't really liked it. Jiwon, Myeongji and that yg girl did great, the rest was... too bland? Idk

Me gustas tu tho was very good. It's a difficult song but they did great. We must notice that they sang without a vocal backtrAck and they sing the chorus all together (something that not even gfriend themselves do). The choreography of course wasn't as good as the original but it's obvious. The arrangement tho was a bit...Idk i didn't like it. And also they cut the song in a weird way. But I still enjoyed it a lot more

The only thing I strongly dislike about this performance is the comment section lol and the fact that everyone is ignoring Gyuri. She's stan material!!![/quote

 

I thought that most of the girls in mgt are non trainees or younger kids in general, if so that's probably the reason that the chreo isn't as challenging

Honestly, I don't like some of the girls in the group, and feel indifferent to most of them, but glade Jiwon made it.

Haein tho..when she burst into tears before the break my heart shattered for her, poor girl. :( 

 

How successful do you think the group'll be? 

Unless they have a breakout I think just above nugu land

As a concept there is lots they can do that different from Pristin for sure. 

 

I guess my issue is that its to close to Pristin debut for Pledis to debut another group - doing so would take some amazing promotion work to get both groups out there, not to mention some really good management.  Pledis of the past really struggled with this - and whilst they are doing better now adding another full group to their roster might just stretch them to thin.

 

All we can do is wait and see now :)

As much as I want this to happen I agree Pledis haven’t proved themselves yet
