I've been following the show closely and wow the bottom 10 people who are ranked lowest are gone after the 3rd performance. Now that episode 7 is finished, I think the structure will go like this:

 

Episode 8: Composition + 3-4 performances

Episode 9: 3-4 performances + eliminations

Episode 10: Last performances (live)

Episode 11: Last performance + final group decided (live) 

 

You know, most of us would all like Natty, Herin and Tasha to make the final group but reality is odds are heavily against them. Its gonna take a miracle performance from here on out (like getting op booster cards) and even then it may not be enough.

Yeah today was just highlights of the kakao lives and even I knew Hayoung and Saerom were gonna win (I think they had the most viewers when they did the live stream). Stephanie did call it Idol week which means they get to meet current idol members and perhaps perform covers of their songs (this time with their guidance). One of the groups might be Pristin, for example.

I just wish we know the total votes for each and every student in pd101. Perhaps the sample size might be smaller than expected because its not an elimination week. I think there will be more votes for episode 8 and even more in episode 9 though. I think the votes for episode 7, 8 and 9 will get added up before it resets.

Out of the 6 songs mentioned, the song that would give the contestants who are on the bubble the best chance to stay alive would probably be Rough.

 

I know, perhaps the booster cards may not be enough this time around since 10 people are getting eliminated but the Vocal team in the last evaluation shows that anything is possible.

Hmm haven't heard about the ratings in episode 7. Perhaps it was unrated (below 0.5%). Perhaps getting idols onto the show would boost the ratings back up.

The rumours in the last evaluation turned out to be true. Perhaps we might be able to find out what the actual songs, scores and the booster card system are today.

Hmm I wonder how the benefit system will work? Is it a 1 vs 1 battle or an overall battle? Wonder how the winners will be decided...

Wasn't Nayeon last in the rankings at one point? If she makes it to the top 9 it would be one of the greatest comebacks in survival show history...

Haneul and Tasha in the same team again  and yes I'm a bit biased. If the spoilers are true the STEP team will be up against it though considering other groups have at least 1 person in the TOP 9. But if there is anyone who can pull off an upset its them. They have the talent and the right mix to do it.

Oh the performances have already started but I haven't seen frequent idol school updates from twitter regarding the performances unlike last time. Welp.

So either the winning team or the 1st place for the particular group gets a 3 place booster card (yes, it has happened again)... not sure exactly what the rule is though its either one or the other.

Looks like thats it... I don't think we have the actual scores for each student yet (the above is just the amount of fancam hearts which I do not think is the actual scores that count towards the boosters).

Hmmmm thinking logically it is indeed a 1 to 1 battle. Then if thats the case then surely the winning team from each battle gets the 3 place booster card. Because if it is only awarded to the 1st placed student from each group then whats the point? Or are there 2 systems here?

 

Edit: According to godyoori, only the students who got 1st got the 3 place booster... welp. Might as well made it an individual battle.

Natty and Jiwon didn't want to do the song initally and you could understand why. On top of that they are meeting TWICE and I don't think Jiwon and Natty have seen them in a long time since SIXTEEN finished. It could get quite awkward meeting them... don't you dare evil edit this mnet. I bet Mnet is gonna milk this... hope I'm wrong. Furthermore, theres a halloween theme. Wonder if theres some meaning behind it.

Also note that the broadcast has been switched to Friday 11pm KST.

There are going to be a lot of moments in the next episode. 

 

- Nayeon reuniting with her childhood friends Eunha and Sinb

- Natty and Jiwon reuniting with Momo and Mina in the JYP building 

- Seeing some of the girls burst into tears during their live stages (knowing that it might be their last)

- 10 people getting eliminated and its gonna be hard to say goodbye to them

 

This has the potential to be a ratings hit compared to their previous episodes but geez its gonna be one hot mess. Now thats its pushed back to Friday I bet all of the performances will be shown. BTW if Natty's rank doesn't rise after performing OOH-AHH and reuniting with Momo and Mina, nothing will.

I think the contestants in the bottom 10 might be given a glimmer of hope due the changes to the timeslot and the episode content.

- Established idols are coming onto the show which is likely to increase ratings as more people who are new to the show may watch it.

- Exactly the same timeslot as Produce 101 and a much better one as they dont have to sleep early to go to school, university or work which may attract newer viewers and Produce 101 fans.

- More performance based rather than variety based which means new viewers might be voting based on their performance alone rather than their experience throughout the show.

 

Not saying that the likes of Tasha, Haneul, Dahee and Myeongji will survive the next elimination but just giving some optimism to an almost inevitable situation.

Well that was quick... looks like performance time is almost here! Looks like they are gonna do this in one episode. Early days though.

It does seem like the episode is going at an express speed. Feels a little bit rushed but I can understand why they want to squeeze everything in.

Yeah Seoyeon easily stood out due to that rap part. Overall not the best performance, just okay. Too cute and high pitched for my liking (even though it was by design).
