How would you feel if a guy said he was only talking to you cause you're beautiful?

Okay so let's say you have been talking to a guy, trying to get to know him more (for like 2-3 weeks). He is funny, cute, and you guys seem to have a lot in common. He's easy to talk to as well and you always seem to have good conversation with him but then he ask what your complex is in terms of looks. When you tell him, he tells you that he's talking to you because you're beautiful and he doesn't even talk to anyone who isn't pretty and beautiful. Does that seem shallow to you?

 

I was starting to have some feelings for a guy but idk after he said that, it seem to turn me off a bit

Nah, he probably has low standards or just wants to get inside the pants LOL. But I decided to not to really see him in a serious way. I am not getting good vibes from him

I'd say he's being shallow. And if anyone ever said that to me, I would tell them that they need to go find some other beautiful person to talk to, because this relationship just isn't going to work. I don't want someone to be interested in me solely because of my looks, because let's face it, your looks aren't going to stay the same forever. And as soon as they start to change, the person's interest in you is probably going to change right a long with them. And the next thing you know, they're off chasing after someone else and you're all alone. So if I were you, I would let this guy go and go find someone else.

If he's desperate, nah. If he's confident, I don't mind. But usually when guys tell me that, I get a little stress because that means they will notice my looks a lot and I'm afraid I can't live up to their expectations :/ especially when they say things like "you're very beautiful". I keep thinking what if I have chapped lips or didn't sleep well or blah blah

Most of the time when a guy says this is because he wants to hook up with you. If he is so into your looks but doesn't want to get to know you in a deeper intellectual level, then it means he wants to get to know you in a sexual compatibility level.
