What was your feeling during your first time in watching Kpop Concert?

I honestly just shout the whole time at the top of my lungs until the next day I wasn't able to talk and got my STREPSILS for the whole 1 week. But all are worth it! (by the way it happened 1st week of March #OneKInManila2017)

And yes to my next Kpop Concert to attend. (BTS Concert or SVT Concert, not sure though!)

Good thing I wasn't able to cry that time because honestly my friend who's a shawol did cry, and that was the first time I saw her cry and then I have my seatmate who almost fainted.

First concert was BB Alive Tour... I just felt in a state of disbelief. Everything went perfectly! We got there a tiny bit early (like 2-3 hours before soundcheck) and the line was hella short, I touched Taeyang during Soundcheck (he came down between the barriers), and it was so easy to go from the railing by the stage to the back to dance. Like, I could breathe easily and everyone was hella lit! Afterwards it didn't even feel real. A perfect first K-concert

Not sure if you would count KCON, since multiple groups are performing, but when I went to EXO's concert in LA last year, I felt...kinda underwhelmed? Like I was excited to see them, but I also didn't have that cheering spirit that other fans around me had, and I wondered if it was because I was older than a lot of the fans there who were in their teens to early 20s, whereas I was already a little past my mid-20s, or if it was just because where my seat was, I couldn't see OR hear shit well (the sound system was really shit there and while my section was close to the stage, all I saw was the side of the stage and the light fixtures for most of the concert--the only time I saw the boys were when they used the extended stage. For one of their songs I literally couldn't see them at all because they didn't use the extended stage for that song) so I couldn't enjoy the concert properly.

If KCON counts, when I went to the one in 2014, it was only when IU performed that I was freaking out inside since she's my ult bias.

My first experience with any type of KPOP concert was KCON NY, but I just saw BTS over two nights this past week! My first thought was: wow, this crowd is so amazingly diverse -- probably the most diverse crowd I have ever seen at a music show.

And my thoughts during the show consisted of screaming, involuntary dancing, and feeling like part of a community in a way that I have not felt at other concerts. :)

Shinee, a week ago.

They're not my ult stan, but I'm glad I went even though I had to book plane + hotel to see them. I had a great experience and I think I'm mentally more prepared if I see Infinite or Suju live. I didn't know anyone beforehand, so I was really nervous, but I had a great time screaming and not caring if I sang the right lyrics or not, etc. Just cheering with the Japanese lightstick (I'm still so grateful for it :o) I went with no biais, but my biais list would have been broken anyway if I had one (damn Minho and his stare QRLGYBO.png )

snsd in 2012. the seat arrangement was shitty. i sat on tribune, pretty close to stage but hardly see them because people in the front blocked my view.... performance-wise, some of them looked so tired, rumor said they arrived at my city in 2 am, continued to do rehearsal & soundchek until morning and finally performed in 6 pm)

.lucky that my bias was so active. the audio & interpreter were also pretty shitty, some of them looked pissed off.

luckily in 2016, i watched them again in my town and they were so energetic and full of fanservices! maybe because they were well-rested. yuri was even crying because she thought indonesian sones wouldn't sing along that loud. kudos to the promotor, because i think they were managing it profesionally.

Don't think it counts, but the first Kpop music related thing I've been to was some LA Korean Music Festival concert event. I was still pretty excited to be able to see kpop groups perform in person. I couldn't really see the artists since it was in a huge stadium, but I still cheered loudly and sang along/danced to whatever groups I knew. It helped that I was with my few kpop loving friends so we were really hyper about together (and cold as hell cuz it was an outdoor stadium).

Still pretty sore that I didn't go to a Korean Music Festival a few years before since BTOB and Beast had gone, but they were last minute additions. And they've never come back to LA since. If we're talking about real solo kpop artist concerts, my first one will actually be BAP's in April, so hopefully, I will be just as hyped and excited as I was for the collaborative kpop concert. :)

Tbh, the first time was like all blurred to me. I was so excited and the crowd was amazing. But i was too far since the seats that i wanted was sold out right away. I was so disappointed when i got in the venue since i cannot properly hear them and see them. But me and my sister were so excited and she was screaming and thats the first time i heard her scream like that. I recorded most of it and all i can hear on the video was my sisters screaming kyungsoos name. But it was still amazing since you can feel the crowd were so hyped.

The second time that i have attended their concert was one of the best things that happened to my life and i will tell that story even to my grandchildren, haha..

First, I was surprised that even though I arrived at 'doors open' time (which was like 2 hours before concert) there was already a massive queue - I think 90% of attendees were already there lol laugh.png

I was also surprised by the general excitement and shouting levels, that was quite fun lol. I was suprised though that there was zero habit of clapping at the end of each song. I each time kinda made a fool of myself by starting clapping on my own laugh.png  (though no one noticed thanks to the aforementioned shouting lolol)

When I saw SHINee in Dallas last week, I actually faininted for like 2 seconds but luckily the seat in front of me caught me just in time to hear the begining of the song. It was honestly an out of body experiance. I used to think 5 members was too little a number to pull of a great performance, boy was I wrong! SHINee has great command of the stage and they are born-performers. They are not human. Like you dont see a face like theirs on the streets or something. Seeing them have so much fun made me feel so happy inside, and I honestly questioned how there are fans who regularly go to their concerts and fanmeets but still remain delusional and kick up a storm when a member is in a dating scandal. Seeing them so happy made we want eternal happiness for them and to experiance the joy in life of having a significant other or marriage.

Your experience is kinda like mine! There are also a lot of good things, but I also did not feel as hyped as others, maybe I am more on the older side (I met 2 teenagers who are almost 10 yrs younger and tons of kids that attended with their parents). I also think that if you are looking for performance, just watch it from Youtube because you can pause the video and look at every member closely. Moreover, fanchant is super loud, I can't even hear them singing

but the atmosphere was good, I got to interact a bit with them, so I am happy

My first Kpop concert was Exo LuXion in Manila. It was amazing and I didn't want it to be over (also, I was on the verge of crying when they were saying goodbye).

This year I bought a VIP standing ticket to ExorDium in Manila and it was again so amazing. 10 out of 10 would do again, so tiring to be in the mosh pit though, but seeing them up close was worth a few hits here and there lmao.

my first concert was UnitedCUBE in London.what i remember the most was Dongwoon's cracking during on rainy days and how Hyuna changed my perception on her. i used to have not quite good impression about her but everything changed after that night. regardless of what kind of image she projects onstage, she was hardworking, kind and friendly. she was smiling all the time.
