[sports Chosun.com] The '7th Queen' KBS Sageuk representative players met.
On May 31, KBS, a historical dramatist, will come to an amphitheater where an ambitiously prepared romance drama will be held. It is the KBS 2TV new tree drama 'The 7th Queen'. Here are the representative players who do not fall into the drama. In many ways, the 'Seven Days of the Queen' can not be expected.

The 7th Queen is the romance historical drama that depicts the love story of the Jungjong and the aristocrats around the unfinished female Daekyung Wanghusin, who has been sitting on the queen for the shortest time in history. Park Minyoung will take on the role of Shin Chae Kyung, the main character of a woman who becomes a queen of daikyung in the future.

One of the reasons for the rising expectation of prospective viewers about 'The 7th Queen' is the meeting between director Lee Jeong-sup and actress Park Min-young. Lee Jeong-seop is the director who produced many hit movies on KBS such as' Gwangdo Hong Gil Dong ',' Baking King Kim Tong Koo ',' Yonggwang Jaein ',' Healer ',' Park Min Young is known as an actress who goes well with poetic historical drama. It is not surprising that two people have met in historical drama.

Among the works of Lee Jung-seop, the drama that has not been erased for a long time in the memories of the viewers is KBS 'Hong Gi-dong'. 'Flying Hong Gil Dong', a fusion drama, is a work of director Lee Jeong-seop, who brings out consensus. At the time, director Lee Jung-seop led the explosive popularity of 'Gwangdo Hong Kil-dong' as a directing that deeply captures the emotions of the characters and the senses. 'Hong Gi-dong' is remembered as a dramatic drama that blows stereotypes coolly.

In addition, Park Min-young is a typical actress who is called as an anime theater drama goddess. Park Min-young, who has a classical appearance as well as acting ability that can capture everything from the freshness to the maturity. That is why Park Min-young is shining in the historical drama. KBS 'Sungkyunkwan Scandal' is the drama in which Park Min-young's dramatic and genuine goddess goddess shows deeply. At that time, Park Min-young was not only a simple youth star but also an actress who could lead a drama drama.

Lee Jung Sup and Park Min Young, KBS and romance dramas, historical drama goddess Park Min Young. It is no exaggeration to say that this combination is believing and seeing. This is why the '7 Days of the Queen' is inevitable. As evidenced by this, the 10-second video of "The Queen of the Seven Days" and the first teaser video revealed a completely different mood and banged up the preliminary viewers. The '7-day queen' has been focusing on questions and expectations before the broadcast. Prospective viewers will be waiting for the first broadcast on May 31.

On the other hand, KBS 2TV drama 'The Queen of the 7th' is a drama featuring Lee Jung-seop PD and Choi Jin-young, who directed 'Happy Hong Gil Dong', Baking King Kim Tonggu, 'Healer' and ' It will be broadcast first on May 31 following the current 'Queen of Mystery'.

Elegant tears and waking forbidden hearts in Seven Day Queen

7dayqueenp2.jpg

Park Min-young (Remember—Son’s War) looks beautiful as the fallen Seven Day Queen in the latest stills for the upcoming KBS sageuk. The drama is based on a historic legend about the star-crossed lovers, King Jungjong and Queen Dangyeong, who are known as a real-life Romeo and Juliet of Korea.

Not everyone can pull off hanboks well, but here, Park Min-young looks like she was born to wear them. Her character Shin Chae-kyung (who later becomes Queen Dangyeong) is the tragic heroine who is caught between two powerful men, as indicated in the newest promo clip. It opens on a verdant field and a couple sitting under a gazebo in the gently falling rain, while her voiceover says: “I awakened a heart I should not have. And I accepted a heart I should have not have.â€

I’m assuming the woman under the gazebo is Park Min-young, and that the man is Jungjong, played by Yeon Woo-jin (Introverted Boss). Although, with two men vying for her affections, it could also be Jungjong’s brother Yeonsangun, who will be played by Lee Dong-gun (Laurel Tree Tailors).

Historically, Yeonsangun was a tyrant who is known for having the bloodiest reign throughout the Joseon dynasty, initiating massive purges of his own court and converting scholarly institutions to royal brothels. After enduring his excesses for more than a decade, his subjects finally had enough and overthrew him for his half-brother Jungjong.

Queen Dangyeong was Jungjong’s wife and first consort, who is known for having the shortest reign in Joseon history of only seven days. She became a victim of the tumultuously shifting political tides as her husband ascended to the throne, and was quickly exiled to the mountains. In the drama, it looks like she’ll be at the center of both the political and romantic entanglements between the two royal brothers.

Wednesday-Thursday drama Seven Day Queen will begin on May 31, after the end of Mystery Queen.

Seven Day Queen’s young lovers realize their tragic fates

SevenDayQueenStills-4.jpg

The parade of stills and trailers continues for KBS historical drama Seven Day Queen, a Joseon-era royal romance where paternal brothers King Jungjong and Yeonsangun are both in love with Queen Dangyeong. Dangyeong was queen for the shortest time in Joseon’s history, having been deposed after seven days because of her father’s involvement in royal subterfuge. The story is being touted as Korea’s Romeo and Juliet, with two lovers tragically torn apart due to their warring political families. So get your tissues at the ready.

The latest stills show all three of the main cast together: Park Min-young (Remember—Son’s War) looks gorgeous as Queen Dangyeong, the woman who will be loved by two brothers. Yeon Woo-jin (Introverted Boss) is future King Jungjong, whom we meet as a prince who must live quietly so as not to threaten his half-brother, tyrant King Yeonsangun, played by Lee Dong-gun (Laurel Tree Tailors). The tenth and eleventh kings of Joseon, one a tyrant and the other a great ruler, and the one woman they love. Can you imagine their family dynamics?

https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=LSAJDO-GSJc

The new teaser opens up in happier times as a young prince is playing in a field with a young lady. Park Min-young says in voiceover, “I woke up the heart I shouldn’t have awoken. I received the heart I shouldn’t have received.†The caption goes on to state that this is the most tragic love story in the history of Joseon. We next see Yeon Woo-jin as the grown-up prince, who seems to be living in hiding. In a tender moment in the past between the prince and the young lady, she says to him, “When we are born into this world, I think we should fulfill our duty.â€

But then the trailer turns dark as another voiceover says, “Stop here. You were not meant to meet from the beginning.†The caption confirms our worst fears: “A love between two people who must kill each other to live.†In the next scene, Park Min-young is crying with all her royal robes removed, and Yeon Woo-jin sheds tears. She says, “If I am reborn, I will never meet you.â€

In the second batch of still images below, 2PM’s Chansung (Ms. Temper and Nam Jung-ki) is shown as Seo-no, a true friend to Yeon Woo-jin who has been loyal to him ever since the prince saved his life as a child. The show promises an everlasting bromance with heartfelt friendship and loyalty.

My goodness, I don’t know if I can take this story. You have a tragic love, a broken family, and a bromance that my gut says will not end well. This feels like one of those stories where things are great, then it turns bad, and everything gets worse. But maybe the writer will pull a Moonlight Drawn By Clouds and rewrite history?....   Wednesday-Thursday drama Seven Day Queen will premiere on May 31 following Mystery Queen.

"Queen for 7 Days" Park Min-young's surprising ascent of status

photo850330.jpg&key=017b56d735e7a4a09f4b

Park Min-young has made a big ascent in status.

Park Min-young is starring in the new KBS 2TV drama "Queen for 7 Days".

Her first medieval drama was "Sungkyunkwan Scandal". She took on the role of Kim Yoon-hee, an intelligent girl who earned a living for her family. She didn't let the fact that she was a woman stop her from getting into Sungkyunkwan and wore a hat string and uniform instead of a pretty dress and fancy accessories.

Park Min-young was lovely although she was a man. She didn't let go of her hopes and dreams although she was poor and Kim Yoon-hee was wise.

In that sense, "Queen for 7 Days" is a big deal for Park Min-young as she's appearing as a mature women in the middle of romance.

Park Min-young takes on the role of Sin Chae-kyeong, the unlucky queen who was queen for the shortest number of days in Joseon history. The poster of "Queen for 7 Days" released on the 18th show Park Min-young in the pose of an elegant queen.

Sin Chae-kyeong was born with tremendous fate and experienced the most tragic love of all time. Sin Chae-kyeong is a character that has to carry the weight of the drama and Park Min-young is expected to do all this.

"Queen for 7 Days" is written by Choi Jin-yeong and directed by Lee Jeong-seob and it begins on the 31st of May.
