People who've worked in retail have you had many bad experiences with customers?

I work in a clothes store. Today a man was really drunk and he basically tried stealing some of the clothes when he was in the changing room. When I asked if he could return the items, he threatened me and swore at me loads and I just waited for him to go because I wasn't prepared to fight with a customer- especially not someone twice my size. It was really early in the morning- no supervisors on my floor and I called the security and they weren't answering. I've been working in retail for a year now but this is the first time a customer has verbally harassed me. 

Any other people have similar bad experiences with customers?

yes, and i feel bad for ppl who work in retail, its honestly so stressfgul

 

i worked there for a year and a half and it was regular basis costumersd being lil bitches, esp older ladies, like always complaining when i'm trying to do my job. also, someone told me, theres this mammy forum for my local area, and they complain all the time about the specific store/company i worked for

I've had loads of bad experiences although I've been working at the same job for like 4 months lol. I've had customers swear at me,complain about price tags,the way I pack their stuff and keep pestering me about free stuff etc. I highly doubt I'd ever return to this job in future lmao.
