As a Black female myself, I personally don't like the word at all. I used to feel uncomfortable when hearing it around me (especially at school) but now I guess I'm kinda numb to it. I don't really care if other black say to their other black friends, a long as the friend is okay with it though (Like this when someone called me one just being friendly I guess but I didn't feel comfortable hearing it spoken to me).

I do not Iike the word nor do I like being called one, if people want to use the word I don't care too much

I personally don't feel any kind of way about its use between black people. But when non-blacks use it, it's an issue. It's like, you can say your mom is a bitch, but if some random person said it, it would be a totally different issue.
