Will any of the groups containing ex-IOI members be able to obtain in award in their careers?

I think it's a real possibility that the IOI members(other than some) experienced their first and last music show win(and MAMA award and performance) within IOI. DIA seems to be doomed, Gugudan and WJSN are having a hard time breaking through the surface and Pristin still could pull a seventeen but chances are their success will rain pretty stagnant.

The one who is most likely to win a music show ever is WJSN because they are from starship and the quality of there music.

Why is it so hard for nugu girl groups to gain success nowadays?

We haven't seen Dodeong's group yet nor Somi's group yet. So we can't say anything for sure.

WJSN is getting bigger every comeback.

I hope pristin can have some songs similar to afterschool. Also pristin barely debuted like a week ago. It's to early to tell their outcome. 0u0plz.png

You act like IOI was fxxking NGG or something~ Seriously, they got some rookie awards and I'm assuming some music show wins and did pretty decent on the charts (Neomu X 3, I think, did at least) but what makes you think that their current groups should suddenly shoot to stardom because ONE member was in a semi-successful group?

Calling IOI semi-successful is a huge understatement. They were the closest thing to NGG besides Twice

The only reason I said semi-successful was because it was limited because they weren't meant to be permanent, not to downplay them~ But even so, I don't see why that should mean their groups would suddenly become super popular or something just because one member was in IOI~

I agree with you about that. The only groups I can see getting a big boost from IOI are Gugudan, Fantagio, and JYPNGG because Sejeong, Yoojung, and Somi all have a lot of fans

Yeah probably only those 3 and sohye maybe who have individual tv appearance as ioi member. No wonder they have a lot of individual fans

Pristin could pulled a svt but wjsn and gugudan are having a hard time? I'm sorry but from all the post-ioi groups gugudan is the one with the best sales. Just with their comeback they surpassed their debut album sales. They aren't Twice of course but with two more comebacks I can see gugudan selling as much as Gfriend. I don't know much about pristin but their current sales are pretty high because of their 2 album versions, if they didn't released 2 versions of the album they would be flopping hard in physicals sales too along with their digital sales. But we'll see, all these groups are just starting so...

still too early too measure it, but putting the wjsn with the other seems not equal since its already a year since their debut and ppl think  think wjsn were more popular than others? but i hv to agreed on dia, they seemed doomed :'( but maybe next comeback if they get good song itll be changed. as for now on maybe wjsn can compete with dia, and gugudan compete with pristin? (time exposure wise)

imo opinion, the ioi member within the group sure helped increase the market to knowing their group name existence, but to make it to the extend for getting loved its really up to the others member personality, charm and luck and cant rely on just those ioi member.

as for me, i know gugudan gg and pristin gg honestly just because ioi member, but that alone still hard to make me stan them hard eventho i quite like Seojung n Nayoung (pristin) personality. so to say the ioi title would be able to obtain an award for them... we can say its invalid, although it helps a lot tho and sure have a huge impact to their own respective groups.

rather than curious-ing about the award, im more concerned about the other member...how they can steal the heart of ppl when almost (not all ofcourse) of their fans/viewers proly watch them just to see those ioi ex member.. itll very hard and tough for starter

I honestly think Gugudan is doing great and I'm not going to compare since Gugudan's on their comeback and Pristin's just debuting... but I don't see how if Pristin only released one version they would be "flopping hard". Let's say they only had 1 version and only sold half as many albums... even 5,000 albums in 4 days is hardly flopping. That's still dang good brah...

IOI nugu ? with 3600+ pages in the forum ?

WJSN nugu ? with 4000+ pages in the forum ?

Compare to Lovelyz with ~4100 pages and GFriend with 4400+ pages.

Even DIA has 1000+ pages.

Pristin has already 700+ pages

Sure Twice, RedVelvet and BlackPink are more popular, but these group have left the nugudom.

lol, come on. it's tiring seeing this kinda "fake concern" about IOI. n what makes me think this kinda thread is weird because the one who made these kinda thread did not even appear in IOI thread.idontthinksobetchplz.png

the groups you mention only months old except DIA, n even DIA hasn't reach two year long. n of course in the future between some of that groups n others too come maybe there's gonna be some group doing better than others. but too judge they are nugu is way out of line. even some successful group not really doing good in the first time. n as much as i know these groups didn't even doing that bad.

so just watch n stop showing your "fake concern" just because you don't have someone to talk to
