Out of all my friends, I think only my best friend really understands and accepts the whole of me. Even the part of me which can be annoying to other people. She takes it so well and makes it a non-issue. I'd like to think I do the same for her. She makes me feel loved. I like my other friends too and I know they like me back but I don't get that 100% sense of security and belonging. I think my best friend is someone who will never give up on me like my parents. If my best friend and my other friend were sinking in a boat and I could only save one, I would save my best friend without even thinking but I would never tell that to my other close friends.
