Lots of koreans go to manila since you can pretty much find lots of fans of k-drama and k-pop there. The time difference isn't huge and it's a great place to find lovely beaches and I heard that lots of other students from different countries like studying medicine here (since it's cheaper and we're a country with tons of english speakers). The next most visited cities are either probably SF, LA, Honolulu, New York, or Vancouver in terms of North America since those cities have a lot of Asians, both resident and foreign tourists.
