He looks pretty badass, but kinda seems out of place compared to the sweet and dessert character designs in this arc.I feel he's more suited for Kaido's crew, design wise. Regardless, Oda really knows how to hype you up and introduce a character. He seems to break the naming conventions for the Sweet Commanders who were named after the food that they were attributed to, i.e. "Charlotte Cracker" and "Charlotte Smoothie" but we'll see once his powers are revealed in more depth. It seems like his powers and concept is centred around jellybeans... I wonder if they'll be based off of jelly bean roulette where you don't know what flavour you're getting = different powers for different types of jelly beans. Still, after reading this chapter, I'm more curious about the powers of the underworld bosses... Especially the woman... If I'm not wrong... I am looking forward to seeing how well he fare against Jack. It seems also that Oda is increasing the power level of ranged weapon. We are constantly seeing big shots using pistols and rifle to fight. Doflamingo, Capone, Black Beard crew, Shanks crew. This time, it's a long range DF which resemble that of a pistol. sofi 17,143 Posted March 23, 2017 Share Posted March 23, 2017 (edited) He looks rather..."normal" for Oda's standards, so I think there will be a quirk or something unique about his powers, something similar to Cracker, who managed to surprise us despite his initial design being sort of anonymous. Super hyped up for the wedding ceremony and as others said I also want to know more about the underground bosses, since it's the first time that Oda officially introduced them in a world that seemed divided between pirates/marines/gov with the addition of the secret services.
