In general it's to find friends from all over the world but sometimes people also use it as a way to form relationship. Some girl apparently met a guy from there but lost contact so she posted up a picture of him trying to find him on the app again..kind of like a lost dog lol it's probably messed up to say but it was kind of funny to me. Any ways, I don't really have anything against online relationship. In this day and age, most people are busy with work and other life situation so online dating might be beneficial for them. In terms of dating someone from somewhere far away, personally I can't do it. For me it's too difficult but it worked out great for some of my friends.
