MelodyDay Named New Face of Elysian Ski Resort

MelodyDay is the new face of Elysian Ski Resort in Chuncheon′s Gangchon.

MelodyDay′s agency stated, "MelodyDay recently signed a formal contract to be the model of

Elysian Ski Resort is currently active as the new face Elysian Ski Resort."

 

 

A rep from Elysian Ski Resort stated, "We chose MelodyDay as the model because their bright and trendy

charms fit Elysian Ski Resort′s atmosphere targeting young people."

MelodyDay has displayed its vocal prowess through numerous OSTs since their debut, and they showed off

their fresh and lively charms through #LoveMe, which was released in June, and their chic sides through their

latest release Speed Up.

The members boast an average height of 167 cm, vocals that highlight the group′s harmony and cheerful

performances that display the group′s diverse charms, leading to many love calls from ad agencies.

Meanwhile, MelodyDay attended the 2015 Cass Point Awards at the Seoul Shilla Hotel on December 7,

where they performed #LoveMe.

LOEN bought Viewga?

Originally, Melody Day is a "joint venture" of Loen and Viewga, kinda like Hello Venus between Fantagio and Pledis before they became all Fantagio. Not sure if some members are still under Loen and the others viewga like it was the case for Hello Venus though. Loen is also the distributor for Melody Day. They've kinda always been affiliated with IU's company^^

Melody Day's Yeoeun remakes 'Let's Forget It' for Reply 1988's newest OST

The 8th 'Reply 1988' OST is here, this time by Melody Day's Yeoeun with her song "Let's Forget It"!

 

"Let's Forget It" (the original songs are also known as "Let's Now Forget") was originally sung by Lee Jang Hee in 1974, and a remake by Kim Wan Sun was made in 1989.

 

All of 'Reply 1988' OSTs have been remakes of hits back in the day, and this one is no different.

 

Special care was put in so that the feeling of the original song remained, while Yeoeun brought in her strong vocals to make the song her own. We're loving her version of it!

 

In related news, 'Reply 1988's Original Soundtrack Part 2' will be out on January 15.
