R&B provocateur/future Cooking Channel host Kelis will release her new album Food, produced by TV on the Radio's Dave Sitek, on April 22 via Ninja Tune. Kelis is readying a new album called Food, and in surprising but thematically appropriate news, she's also getting her own show on The Cooking Channel, Consequence of Sound reports. It's called "Saucy and Sweet"—watch a promo here. The show premieres on Wednesday, February 26 at 8:30pm EST. In the promo, she says, "I'm a multi-platinum recording artist, my passion is food."
