He didn't release during their comeback, he didn't release it 2 weeks ago like he said he would and now he can't release it for at least a month. I wonder if he'll even bother now. I think he will, it will be like a bonus, it's not like the MV will help to sell more albums or play a big part in the promo. So it can be released anytime. A lot of people keep saying IIWY is too repetitive, but after hearing the instrumental and relistening to the song, how is it any more or less repetitive than any other K-pop song/hit out there? I don't get what people are trying to say when they're like "derp too repetitive herp" when that is kinda how pop in general is based around repetition. All of CL's compositions sound amazing. I want some more Choice37. Among YG composers, he always produces my favourte tracks (Love is Ouch, Bad Boy, etc.). Like IATB, I didn't like Crush the first time I heard it (IIWY was my first favourite lol), but after the 2nd listen, like IATB, it's one of my most played tracks. Truly IATB 2.0! Too bad it doesn't have an MV I feel like a lot of people are downplaying CL's contributions to this album. Many people flat out refuse to believe she played any major roles in composing the songs or just label the songs as "repetitive". I mean she's not a G-Dragon or Teddy yet and has a long way to go, but the 3 tracks she composed (with credit to Dee.P and Choice37 of course) to me are fking amazing. The song is great whether a few think it's repetitive or not. I especially love how Bom and Minzy alternate the ending with their lines and adlibs. So nice. Honestly, I was really surprised that ppl didn't like CRUSH. It was the epitome of 2NE1 but more refined. I loved it on first listen but IATB did take another listen b/c I couldn't grasp what I had just listened to, lol. It's now one of my top favorite 2NE1 songs though. The MV and performances did help to solidify that. I think it was the same for other ppl too. I think they refuse to believe it because the songs are just really good, lol. But I believe that the songs were based around her compositions and the other producers helped her hone in the sound, what instruments to use, etc. One thing for sure is that she had a huge input in those songs. Teddy also confirmed that CL has more than 20 self-composed songs now, that's a lot for soemone who is supposed to not know how to compose/write music... YG himself said he was surprised by CL's compos cause they were so good, so I understand where ppl are coming from lol : Out of nowhere CL played a major role in the production of 2NE1's new album (on 5 songs = 50%), like what? how? when? CL learns fast, she's spending her free time in the studio all the time, ppl who know a bit abt CL's life saw that coming.
