And honestly speaking I wish he would utilize 2NE1 as a group and build a stronger foundation for them so that they can recognized by the public more by releasing another album together hopefully by this year since CL talked in interview that they recorded many songs in the last 2-3 years (soon big bang will be going to the army, so he will need someone else to sustain a balance when they are out for 2 years, assuming they all go at same time but we'll see about that). Even if he debuts newer groups it will still take time for these groups to show profit (if we are looking from the business perspective, so 2NE1 seems to be the only group now that will continue bringing in things for YG until their other artists show positive signs). I really hope that CL will not debut in US, nowadays the biggest factor that an artist needs to gain some sort of success seems to be luck (this is harder to get) and connections (this could help a bit but not completely), cause talent can be masked in the studio (i am not saying CL is not talented) just that many artists in US can imitate and give the illusion that they have talent, so many of the times raw talented artists can be overlooked. I dont want to be rude but I honestly can't see her succeeding in the US (like i love CL) but who knows maybe in the future if YG ever decides to do something with his forever talking plan and she/or 2NE1 succeeds i will be eating up my words, but as of now I really can't see any proper stable success without 2NE1 girls building a proper foundation in Korea or Asia at least. Right now is giving us great songs, a 'world' tour, variety shows appearances and CFs(mostly CL). They try to bring 2ne1 back to the top(even though they never fell lots of people doubted them being on top anymore). Honestly I'm really glad YG finally gave 2ne1 the attention they deserve but I think he shouldn't promise things he won't do(like another album and CL solo album THIS year). And about CL's US debut...I hope CL won't be debuting there anytime soon. I want her to take things slowly. Also I hope CL's cameo on PSY's MV turned out good because she said she's embarressed by it(I don't want her to be like Gain or Hyuna ). Sometimes I do question whether YG is aware of some of the things that he has done in the past (i.e. those random 12 promises for 2NE1 album, like why dude did you have to give empty promises, it made me doubt YG as a company, though i am glad they never released any minis or albums in the last 2 years otherwise we would never be getting this album, with these specific songs, songs in this album seem to mix well together), though I do in a way understand why he would give those "promises", in the end i came to a conclusion that it was to keep some sort of hype, or hope that 2NE1 (or any of his artists) will be releasing something. The company did do most of the promotions decently last year except the anomaly is still Seungri's promotion (like releasing mini 2 weeks before GD's album, WTH YG?, for most the mini was overlooked by many, it was actually a pretty solid mini), even 2NE1's promotion was alright, but I would still not consider theirs as an anomaly (lol). i am not sure for variety show appearances (i dont really count interviews appearances on mnet or their appreance on sketchbook) since they havent done any since this promotion cycle, and I am still skeptical about Bom's appearance in that other show since YG hasnt confirmed anything, I dont wanna excite myself over that possibility of her appearing in it and then YG comes and denies it, wil be a disappointment, I will wait for some kind of word from YG. Even though we hear about behind scenes of how CL did CFs and that sticker line with whole of 2NE1, we havent really gotten anything thats an official commercial (not behind scene one i mean), i realy hope they will release a proper video for their CF. DO you remember when he said he hoped she would go solo in the US so the other girls could do something? Of course CL is the one holding the other girls from having activities. oye123 1,615 Posted March 30, 2014 Share Posted March 30, 2014 I finally glad that she is getting time more screen time, honestly the only fans that i can understand complaints from are Minzy fans (but her time will come, I believe greatly in this). A lot of people who seem to complain about that nonexistent uneven distribution seem to forget the features that Bom was in including the years before she became a member of 2ne1 (Lexy, RedRoc, CF with hyori, Big Bang etc) there was a quality screen time for this comeback as well and dara had a fair share of her screen time in CFs and this comeback as well (like let other members shine as well). If YG utilizes 2NE1 greatly this year by releasing perhaps another album later in summer (with new songs though, with no last year singles) they could increase the public's interest not only in 2NE1 as a group but for individual members and that would benefit them more in the long run (especially if they would want to release solos alongside 2NE1 releases). Right now I am enjoying their cooperation and their input in the performances that they present to us. Hopefully if YG is smart he will definitely try to make this a 2NE1 year (wait a bit before releasing CL's solo album, maybe until next year) and hopefully challenge the title of nation's girl group (i mean there is no rule that there has to be only one group to represent that, there could always be two). I really hope that with this successful comeback YG will try to hold on to this success and further expand it and utilize it (especially since Big Bang will soon have to be going to the army) and make this year 2NE1's year. 2 2 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Teddy also confirmed that CL has more than 20 self-composed songs now, that's a lot for soemone who is supposed to not know how to compose/write music... YG himself said he was surprised by CL's compos cause they were so good, so I understand where ppl are coming from lol : Out of nowhere CL played a major role in the production of 2NE1's new album (on 5 songs = 50%), like what? how? when? CL learns fast, she's spending her free time in the studio all the time, ppl who know a bit abt CL's life saw that coming. I wasn't surprised, I knew she could do it, I just didnt know that it would happen so early in her career lol i wasnt surprised about her composing skills either, i felt it coming from her. well i think its good that its happening earlier in her career, i see so much potential in her (if it were you instrumental was really good) another thing that i really want to see more improvement in is her rapping, she has so so much potential to expand in this area and stand her own ground if she ever had to freestyle or something, cause one day i really want to see that, that free-styling. but she has time and i'm definitely looking forward to how she further expands her horizon as a composer, rapper, dancer and performer Edited April 23, 2014 by oye123 Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...

Sadly, there's no chance for #2 right now :( From the original set I liked 3, 12, and 15. Especially 3 9 would've been perfect if it weren't for that yellow text on her headband i wanted 12 too but it didnt even get to the semi rounds (is that wat it was called? ) so now i am rooting for number 2 but yea i doubt it will win well at least one of them made it into the finals Link to comment Share on other sites More sharing options...
