Yang Mi spoke up about the Three Lives Three Worlds trending hashtag, will support Liu Yi Fei's film

Recommended Posts

There has been too much rivalry between the drama and movie fandoms on Weibo since the release of Three Lives Three Worlds: Eternal Love drama version. Few weeks ago fans trended a hashtag that read #æ¨å¹‚之åŽå†æ— ç™½æµ…# or #AfterYangMiThereIsNoBaiQian#, meaning besides Yang Mi no one else will be acknowledged as Bai Qian. Today at an event for Miu Miu 2017, Yang Mi clarified that this hashtag was neither from hers nor her company. She did exchange with Liu Yi Fe before that she will support the movie once it comes out. She also commented that Liu Yi Fei will have her own unique interpretation of the role, Bai Qian.

---

I actually like Yang Mi if not for some ridiculous parts of her fandom. These two have been the biggest frienemies for 10 years. Hope to see more from these two together in the future.

Their fans were going at it online No Yehua after Mark was also trending, but I don't think Yang Yang fans took it too far, either that or Mark's fans weren't hardcore enough. I hate when the drama and movie get pitted against each other like this, with the way this seems to be the trend in China to produce both within a short span of each other, we're going to see more fans being EXTRA.

Oh what I meant was friends in real life but enemies onscreen. Journalists and fans have pit them against each other for 10 years.

I've always thought LYF's rival was LSS because of their similar aura + surname lol.

Drama adaptations tend to be more popular than its movie counterparts (My Sunshine, Love O2O, Lost Tomb) because they have more time to flesh things out and hook the viewers. I won't be surprised if the movie version of three lives three worlds can't surpass the drama version. But hopefully the film does well this time.

Oh yeah i know what u mean but lyf and lss aren't friends in real life. Yang Mi, Lss, Lyf, Ab, and Tang Yan are the five biggest of their generation

Are Zhao Liying and Zheng Shuang in the same generation as them or are they younger?

Man I forgot zhao liying. my bad shes on par in terms of age and popularity, but technically she got popular later so I tend to forget. Zheng Shuang is a different generation for the early 90s actresses.

I don't think Ruby was ever in 4 Dan....

Here is the link of all the old and new actresses:

My mistake, I was referring to this award. "Four Great Modern Beauties" awards given to Liu Yi Fei, Huang Sheng Yi, Chen Hao, and Li

Bing Bing. (liu yi fei, charmaine sheh, and ruby lin received another award together, my memories mixed up)
